In his first five games (through 10/2/24), Brooks caught eight passes for 297 yards and three touchdowns. He's also carried the football 11 times for 89 yards. His team's games have been blowouts, and he's averaging only one catch per game. He's made the most of those opportunities (37.1 ypc). He doesn't have a whole highlight reel put together yet, but the one Brooks has up from his game against Western Tech (Sep. 17, 2024) gives you a glimpse of him as a runner and downfield threat. I look forward to seeing his highlights when they're all put together after the season.

Through his first five games (up until 10/2/24), Floyd carried the football 54 times for 746 yards (13.8 ypc) and seven touchdowns. In four of those games, he averaged over 150-plus yards per game. It's a lot to like about him as a running back prospect.

Floyd is quick out of the gate and gets downhill in a hurry. There's no dancing at the line of scrimmage; he's decisive once he hits the whole. His vision at the second level is impressive, and he can make quick cuts without losing any speed. I also like how he runs with power and finishes his runs with authority. Floyd has several explosive plays (15-plus yards) that show he can get yards in chunks. Runs low to the ground with good bend and balance. He should quickly clear 1,200-plus yards by the end of the season.

In his first five games (through 10/2/24), Witherspoon completed 26-of-52 passes for 930 yards, five touchdowns, and one interception. He's also carried the football 17 times for 286 yards (16.8 yards per carry). Witherspoon is disciplined with his footwork and ball-fakes. His mobility is excellent, as he doesn't panic when pressured. Witherspoon has the quickness and speed to hurt a defense with his legs, but it's clear that he's thinking pass-first. His highlight reel shows him throwing all types of throws. Witherspoon shows a nice touch on his medium-to-long throws outside the numbers and in the seams. The receivers are seen catching the football in stride.

Witherspoon gets the ball out quickly, and most of the plays show him throwing it no more after 2-3 seconds. I think it's a credit to him for finding the primary target quickly. None of the throws seem forced. There are several plays where he avoids sacks while keeping his eyes downfield. He's one of the top offensive players in the Baltimore City League.

Reed carried the football 41 times for 347 yards (8.5 yards per carry) and seven touchdowns. Since he doesn't have a mid-season film together yet, I looked at films from his first four games. I did notice that he likes to bounce a good number of runs to the outside. He does have the quickness to beat defenders around the corner. I'd like to see Reed hit the hole faster and more decisive when running between the tackles. He does run with power and can break tackles. A couple of plays showcase Reed's ability to catch passes out of the backfield and get more yardage after the catch is made. I look forward to seeing the final highlight video from his senior season.

In what looks like limited action in his first five games, Sampson completed 23-of-42 passes for 588 yards, five touchdowns, and one interception. He also carried the football 15 times for 118 yards and two touchdowns. Sampson has a good touch on his medium downfield throws. I think he should work on getting stronger so his passes come out of his arm with more velocity. He has an unconventional throwing motion (think sidearm) but manages to connect with his targets. I would like to see more types of throws in his highlights.
