In his first five games (through 10/2/24), Witherspoon completed 26-of-52 passes for 930 yards, five touchdowns, and one interception. He’s also carried the football 17 times for 286 yards (16.8 yards per carry). Witherspoon is disciplined with his footwork and ball-fakes. His mobility is excellent, as he doesn’t panic when pressured. Witherspoon has the quickness and speed to hurt a defense with his legs, but it’s clear that he’s thinking pass-first. His highlight reel shows him throwing all types of throws. Witherspoon shows a nice touch on his medium-to-long throws outside the numbers and in the seams. The receivers are seen catching the football in stride.
Witherspoon gets the ball out quickly, and most of the plays show him throwing it no more after 2-3 seconds. I think it’s a credit to him for finding the primary target quickly. None of the throws seem forced. There are several plays where he avoids sacks while keeping his eyes downfield. He’s one of the top offensive players in the Baltimore City League.

Savion balled out this season leading Dunbar to an undefeated season and another state championship. Possessing good height with a long lean frame, he will fill out nicely and continue to get stronger. I’ve seen Savion live twice this past season and he dominated in both contest. One of his best traits is his deep ball. Strong arm and he can launch it down the field while also adding the touch and accuracy to hit the receiver in stride for big plays. Another one of his best traits is his pocket awareness. Stands tall with his eyes downfield, while sliding & stepping up in the pocket to avoid the rush. While Savion can stand back in the pocket and sling it around all over the field, he is also a sneaky good ruuner. I knew he could extend the play with his legs and throw well on the run but as the year went on I saw him be more of a weapon with his legs. Has a smooth stride and knows how to find lanes and get chunk yardage as a ball carrier. Saw him in person take it 50+ yards down the sideline against City College (MD) out running all the high level athletes they have. Savion holds 1 FBS offer as of now, but I expect him to impress a lot of coaches this spring/summer and should easily pick up some more offers.
