Reed carried the football 41 times for 347 yards (8.5 yards per carry) and seven touchdowns. Since he doesn’t have a mid-season film together yet, I looked at films from his first four games. I did notice that he likes to bounce a good number of runs to the outside. He does have the quickness to beat defenders around the corner. I’d like to see Reed hit the hole faster and more decisive when running between the tackles. He does run with power and can break tackles. A couple of plays showcase Reed’s ability to catch passes out of the backfield and get more yardage after the catch is made. I look forward to seeing the final highlight video from his senior season.

Reed is gaining some momentum landing his second offer since grabbing an Air Force offer last month. He is becoming a pretty impressive prospect; he has breakaway speed and has put on serious size. He measures up to be a D1 prospect at 6-foot 190lbs, his skillset is a speed back who can be dangerous if with the ball in open field, once he hits the sideline, he’s as good as gone.

Reed has been bubbling for 2 seasons now, being the big play weapon for forest park since his sophomore year. He helped forest park to their best record yet with an 11-2 record on the season. Reed rushed for 1,152 yards and 15 touchdowns, making him the 6th leading rusher for the class of 2025. While still used as a scat back he’s developing other parts of his game, and it shows. He shows more power and strength in a few of his runs, running through tackles and spinning out of contact. Be on alert for Reed to light up the scoreboard in 2024, out of the top15 rushers in the class Reed was the only back with under 100 touches on the season (93).
