Continue ReadingLevrone just announced that he landed his 3rd and 4th offers today from Lehigh and Fordham University. He’s been on our radar for a while now and he gets better every evaluation, he’s really coming into his own at corner and being that versatile playmaker on special teams. Defensively the physicality and closing speed stand out, he had 10+ pass breakups and 1 interception. On special teams he’s 1 or 2 blocks from taking it the distance on a few returns, showing his acceleration and ball carrying vision and also had a blocked punt this past season. Just last month he clocked a 10.77s 100-meter dash, the closing speed is no hoax. Look for Levrone to be a leader on this defense who leads with his play, and to contribute to all three phases of the game in 2024.

In less than 24 hours Smith landed his first and second D1 offers from Temple and Syracuse. This prospect has great size and now has film to compliment the measurables and it’s going down the road you’d imagine. He’s driving guys 5+ yards off the ball and had a couple pancakes. What caught my eye was his relentlessness during pass pro on film. He had a play where he blocked his original defender twice and gave a chip to another as the QB rolled out of the pocket. Size is no question for Smith he’ll have the big D1 size, lookout for him to develop very well at a program like DeMatha.

Powell showed glimpses of dominance this past season after being expected to have a bigger impact than in 2023. He just landed his first two offers from West Virgina on Sunday and Toledo today. His film draws your attention within the first minute, he shows quickness, power, and relentless pursuit. Powell’s recruiting stock is rising fast, lookout for his recruiting to have a small domino effect over the next few weeks.
Reed is gaining some momentum landing his second offer since grabbing an Air Force offer last month. He is becoming a pretty impressive prospect; he has breakaway speed and has put on serious size. He measures up to be a D1 prospect at 6-foot 190lbs, his skillset is a speed back who can be dangerous if with the ball in open field, once he hits the sideline, he’s as good as gone.
Hicks put together a heck of a season, we’ve seen his speed and agility, last season he lit a fire under himself and played with a chip on his shoulder. I like his aggressiveness in man to man, he glues himself to the hip pocket and attacks the ball in the air. In the run game he shows the same aggression attacking the LOS and shows he’s not a shy tackler in open field. He recently landed offers from Sacred Heart yesterday and Merrimack today. This brings his offer list to a total of 4, with play like last season expect that number to rise by this winter.
