Hicks has worked his way up the ranks since being added to the watchlist in early 2023, a championship season for the Mustangs. He’s good in man, keeps tight coverage and attacks the ball in the air. He also brings his hard hat in the run game; he comes downhill and makes great form tackles to drop defenders. Hicks is currently uncommitted, but holds offers from Morgan State, Sacred Heart, Georgetown, Merrimack and landed Central Connecticut last month. Hicks put together a heck of a season, we’ve seen his speed and agility, last season he lit a fire under himself and played with a chip on his shoulder. I like his aggressiveness in man to man, he glues himself to the hip pocket and attacks the ball in the air. In the run game he shows the same aggression attacking the LOS and shows he’s not a shy tackler in open field. He recently landed offers from Sacred Heart yesterday and Merrimack today. This brings his offer list to a total of 4, with play like last season expect that number to rise by this winter.
