Dennis is a prospect that has been moving up the boards all season long. A player I saw the spring before his junior year and in an early scrimmage and he certainly stood out with his ability. However, I needed to see more in game action to really be sold on him as a prospect and he delivered this past fall.

A big body, long frame receiver who can make plays across all 3 levels of the passing game. With a long stride, Dennis can glide past DBs for big plays down the field. He has excellent ball skills, tracking it and able to make difficult athletic catches. Dennis had a strong spring/summer in his recruitment, picking up offers from Syracuse, Minnesota, FAU and Del State. Look for Dennis to have a big senior season in an increased role with Mervo and push for another push up the rankings.

Dennis Perry was a deep-ball threat during the 2026 season, demonstrating good speed and strong ball-tracking skills in contested situations. With the ball in his hands, he runs with determination and toughness. Perry can be a weapon in both the short and deep passing game, and he shows flashes of playmaking ability.

Perry is a legitimate vertical threat who consistently wins downfield with length, body control, and strong ball skills. He tracks the football well, adjusts in the air, and finishes through contact. His highlights show him doing this even when throws are underthrown or contested. Perry has smooth movement for his size, with a long-strider build that allows him to separate and pull away once he’s in space. His catch radius creates matchup problems, especially on fades and seam routes against zone coverage. Perry also shows value outside the passing game, including willing and effective perimeter blocking. Overall, Perry looks like an underrated prospect whose ability to stretch the field and convert explosive plays should be drawing more attention.
