Continue ReadingDaniels is a back with a really nice mix of speed, power, and elusiveness. He’s capable of producing explosive plays after contact, maneuvering through the traffic at the LOS and putting his breakaway speed on display. Jabril led the class of 2025 with 1,826 yards and 33 touchdowns. His performance helped lead Fort Hill to 12-0 season with 8 100+ yards games and 6 games with 3 or more rushing touchdowns. His best game couldn’t be written any better, in the state championship Daniels had 21 carries for 304 yards and a whopping 5 rushing touchdowns.
Womack comes in at 2nd in rushing yards for this class with 1,536 yards, and 14 touchdowns. He shines in between the tackles with his vision, agility and strength. He cuts through traffic finding holes and setting up blocks, all while breaking arm tackles before breaking into the second level. In his most impressive game this season he racked up 29 carries for 341 yards and 3 touchdowns. Womack pinballed through his opponents in 2023, expect him to pick up some recruiting attention with another impressive season like this one, he has the size, and skill to make an impact at the next level.
Azodeh became a known name after having a great sophomore season with 1,052 yards and 11 touchdowns. This season he beat his 2023 stats and played two less games. This season he finished with 1,281 yards and 12 rushing touchdowns, he even added an impressive 60+ yard receiving touchdown where he ran through a defensive back and turned on the jets for the score. Cameron was known to be a blazer with his big play speed, he’s added power and impressive agility to his arsenal. On one particular play in his film at 3:34 he puts all his attributes on display, he maneuvers through the LOS, stiff arms a defender to the ground at the second level and outruns the defense to the endzone. If Azodeh isn’t on your top RB board for MD, take another look for sure.
Meade is a downhill running back that rushed for the 5th most in this class with 1,255 yards and 9 touchdowns. Alot of his carries were in the interior but he has an arsenal of moves and the speed to take it 40+ yards for touchdowns. Meade contribute to the receiving and the passing game this season with 153 passing yards and 133 receiving yards, and even converted a fake field goal pass for a score. I expect for Meade to have an even bigger year next season with 8 returning linemen for Leonardtown.
Reed has been bubbling for 2 seasons now, being the big play weapon for forest park since his sophomore year. He helped forest park to their best record yet with an 11-2 record on the season. Reed rushed for 1,152 yards and 15 touchdowns, making him the 6th leading rusher for the class of 2025. While still used as a scat back he’s developing other parts of his game, and it shows. He shows more power and strength in a few of his runs, running through tackles and spinning out of contact. Be on alert for Reed to light up the scoreboard in 2024, out of the top15 rushers in the class Reed was the only back with under 100 touches on the season (93).
