Weston Taylor is a breakout senior this year who is leading one of the most potent passing attacks in the country this fall. Taylor is a late bloomer, so he might be playing catch-up to other QBs in the 2025 class, but he is a D1-caliber signal-caller in his own right. He is a big QB with plenty of room to add more weight and become a durable force in the pocket. Taylor rips through the ball with his long lefty release and gets the ball on WRs in a hurry and with good timing. He isn't much of a runner, but has enough juice in his legs to create when protection shatters and he finds a lane to run through. Cambridge spreads and shreds everyone they face, and Taylor has the quick trigger and zip on the ball needed to play well in that offense. He has plenty of upside and has a chance to be a massive steal for D1 programs.

[player_tooltip player_id='1566569' first='Mason' last='Bryant'] is a ready-made QB prospect at 6'4 205 who has completed over 70% of his passes during his breakout senior campaign. Bryant is a tall, strong presence in the pocket who should be durable enough to take on contact. He is an underrated athlete, selling the option game well and having enough of an extra gear to keep plays alive when the pressure gets home. Bryant plays with good touch, especially on and between the seams. He makes several impressive off-script throws and frequently places the ball to where only his receiver can make a play. He has completed over 70% of his passes and has only thrown 4 INTs on the year, so he is protecting the ball while also pushing it downfield. Bryant has small-school offers and could be a late FCS addition in February.

[player_tooltip player_id='1566871' first='Xavier' last='Hill'] fully took over QB1 duties for Harrison this year, and he has improved each week as a passer while being a prolific rusher. Hill is also a solid baseball player, adding important multi-sport context and indications of athleticism. [player_tooltip player_id='1566871' first='Xavier' last='Hill'] has natural arm strength coming over from baseball, which he uses to attack the middle of the field. Hill's pocket presence has shone this year, and he looks comfortable and plays efficiently when working his progression back over the middle of the field. He has grown as a passer and is another playmaker to account for as a runner. He is a potential lottery ticket at QB in the 2025 class and should get a crack at the next level should he choose to stick with football.

Brock Szakacs is a late-bloomer prospect who has been extremely efficient for the last two years. Since popping on my radar this summer, Szakacs has been one of my favorite sleeper-level QBs in the state, and I believe there is D1 upside here. He is well-equipped athletically and has fine arm strength. What separates him from others is his moxy and finesse. He can manipulate touch at a high level and frequently makes tough throws with beautiful ball placement. He is calm in the face of pressure and plays up to his competition. With the game on the line, I would feel comfortable putting the ball in his hand.

Guest is a touchdown machine on the ground and in the air for Creekview. He has contributed since his freshman season and will be a 2500+ yard career rusher when all is said and done. Guest is still developing as a passer, but he has the ability to tightrope balls into tight coverage and make "wow" throws while on the move and off-platform. He needs to be talked up more as an athlete. We clocked Guest running a 3.94 shuttle before his senior season, which is wicked and puts him in rare territory. There are more indications of speed and explosiveness as well, squatting nearly 500 pounds and being clocked running as high as 4.57 in the 40.

[player_tooltip player_id='942506' first='Tanner' last='Savasir'] had been a steady force for Cherokee his first three years, making subtle strides forward each season. However, he has completely exploded this year and is amongst the state leaders in passers. His mechanics are clean and he has thrown the ball all over the yard this year. What really sticks out to me watching his senior tape is his growth as a playmaker and his pocket presence. It was steep sledding against North Cobb last week, but he did a good job evading pressure by climbing the pocket, which he has done all year. He has decent wiggle in the running lanes and he isn't afraid to drop his shoulder at the end of runs. He is playing with more confidence and will graduate as one of the most prolific passers in Cherokee history.

[player_tooltip player_id='1584642' first='Preston' last='Lancaster'] is the leading passer in Alabama and has done it while efficiently completing 75% of his passes. He isn't given simple throws either. All over his tape, he is making bomb after bomb look easy. He has the arm strength and pop to get the ball over safeties and to his streaking receivers in stride. He throws the fastball over the middle of the field with ease as well. Footwork and pocket presence is a little unconventional and he gets most of the buzz on his ball from his arm action, but he is a gunslinger who is making huge plays while protecting the ball. He has an offer from Murray State but is still a massive sleeper with D1 ability, which is hard to argue against when you watch his tape.

[player_tooltip player_id='1098611' first='TJ' last='Russell'] is an athletic QB with an unconventional playstyle. He is a gunslinger who lets the ball eat to his first read while also keeping plays alive with his legs. His deep ball is perhaps the best tool on his belt, throwing with the power and trajectory to drop it in behind DBs and to his receivers in stride. He is a playmaker when protection collapses, frequently finding receivers while taking on contact and not being afraid to throw across his body. His play style may yield turnovers, but he has done a much better job protecting the ball this year against stiff competition. Russell will play best in an offense that gives him half-field reads, allowing him to attack the deep third by getting the ball out quickly. He is an extra playmaker to account for in the box as well. He holds D1 offers and is still available.

"[player_tooltip player_id='676964' first='Jackson' last='Kilgore'] waited his turn at Auburn HS and has finally fully taken over as the starter as a senior. He has not looked back since and is one of the most efficient and productive QBs in the state. He has a stout, muscular frame. He is an explosive runner, taking advantage of yards available in the short areas. If needed, he could shrug off tacklers in the open field and drop the shoulder to add an extra yard or two. He has plenty of zip on the ball and has a quick release, allowing him to quickly attack tighter windows. He can mix up his arm angle and throw off-platform without sacrificing much arm strength. He plays with outstanding pocket awareness and field vision. There are throws littered all over the tape both over the middle of the field and outside the numbers, and he does it while completing 75% of his passes on the year so far. Kilgore is a good athlete and throws a tight football into all areas of the field. He is a massive sleeper and is a clear D1 prospect. I imagine some of those D1 opportunities will open up as we get closer to signing day."

"[player_tooltip player_id='974922' first='Andrew' last='Alford'] is a national sleeper that was deadly for Central during their state championship run last year. His game is better suited for Friday nights than it is for the camp scene, but he held his own and showed plenty to be excited about. He wasn't the biggest QB in attendance nor did he have the strongest arm, but he was finely equipped in both of those categories and played with confidence. He has solid mechanics and a quick release. On tape, he flashes some impressive mobility in the pocket and can make throws off-platform. I am a big fan of Alford and I am an even bigger fan after seeing how confidently he operates."
