had been a steady force for Cherokee his first three years, making subtle strides forward each season. However, he has completely exploded this year and is amongst the state leaders in passers. His mechanics are clean and he has thrown the ball all over the yard this year. What really sticks out to me watching his senior tape is his growth as a playmaker and his pocket presence. It was steep sledding against North Cobb last week, but he did a good job evading pressure by climbing the pocket, which he has done all year. He has decent wiggle in the running lanes and he isn’t afraid to drop his shoulder at the end of runs. He is playing with more confidence and will graduate as one of the most prolific passers in Cherokee history.

Tanner, In my opinion, is the Cherokee County MVP through the 1st half of the 2024 season.
The dual threat QB has close to 2000 total yards so far. He has completed 100 of 155 pass attempts with 1689 yards and 17 TDs to just 3 INTs. Savasir has added 300 yards on the ground and is averaging over 8.5 yards per carry with 4 rushing TDs.
Good passer on the move and has the arm strength to put some zip on the short balls with ability to throw the ball deep down field. Accurate.
The multisport, 3 year starter for the Warriors has some small school attention now and will find himself on some D1 boards before the season ends.

, Cherokee put up a school record 65 points in a win against Pope. Savasir threw for 425 yards and 3 TDs while efficiently completing 27 of 35 passes. He made a mark in the run game as well, rushing for 31 yards and 2 TDs. Savasir flashed the best of all his tools against Pope. He proved capable of making drive throws between the hashes while also putting some air under the ball to drop it behind safeties. He sensed pressure well and looked good on the move, flashing the arm strength needed to drive the ball while working off-script. His biggest highlight reel was as a runner, dropping his shoulder at the endzone and completely leveling a would-be tackler. Savasir has small-school offers, but his performance against Pope easily sounded off D1 alarms.

Savasir has fallen under the radar as a QB prospect, but he still checks plenty of boxes. He is an athletic 6’0 195, and he also plays multiple sports, including basketball. Savasir plays with good pace and patience, calmly distributing the ball all over the field and mixing up velocities to make different types of throws. He is an underrated athlete, keeping the play alive with the scramble drill and possessing enough speed to move the chains on 3rd down. He throws with a good base and has no wasted movement in his delivery. There are plenty of FCS and lower programs that should evaluate Savasir before deciding to move on.
