A Cherokee County linebacker who plays fast with strong instincts and a sound frame, Barnett is a leading tackler in the region and has opened a lot of eyes to kick off his junior season. He’s been tackling everything in sight over the last two weeks as he made 15 tackles against Pope before making 14 stops against Lambert. He’s playing at a high level right now and has a chance to continue lighting up the stat sheet over the next several weeks. His best football is still ahead of him, and if he continues to develop, should be one of the top defenders in Canton this year and next year.
