has been incredibly reliable for his team the last few seasons but turned it up a ton this fall in Auburn’s fantastic season. Kilgore is a talented passer and decision-maker who does a great job reading and taking advantage of what defenses give him. He consistently finds open receivers and hits them accurately all around the field for big gains and scoring plays. It’s been really impressive watching how much Kilgore has developed as a quarterback, he played with a ton of confidence this season and was a huge reason why Auburn was as successful as they were. It was easy to see these skills this fall, Kilgore ended his year by completing 77% of his passes for 2535 yards, 24 touchdowns, and only 3 interceptions this season. It’s been awesome watching Kilgore play the last few years, be sure to check out his tape, our state is losing a talented QB!

played the best football of his young career this season, he was lights out against some really talented defenses all year long and has had his recruitment open up a lot because of what he’s put on film. Kilgore is a talented passer and decision-maker who does a great job reading and taking advantage of what defenses give him. He consistently finds open receivers and hits them accurately all around the field for big gains and scoring plays. It’s been really impressive watching how fast Kilgore has developed as a quarterback, he played with a ton of confidence this past season and was a huge reason why Auburn was as successful as they were. Kilgore had a huge year for Auburn, totaling 170/222 passing attempts for 2484 yards and 24 touchdowns, and only 3 interceptions, with an additional 351 yards and 2 touchdowns on the ground as well. With how well he’s played, Kilgore has seen his recruitment heat up- just in the last week he picked up an offer from Faulkner! Be sure to watch out for him going forward, he’s a heck of a talent who could end up doing a lot of big things at the next level!

waited his turn at Auburn HS and has finally fully taken over as the starter as a senior. He has not looked back since and is one of the most efficient and productive QBs in the state. He has a stout, muscular frame. He is an explosive runner, taking advantage of yards available in the short areas. If needed, he could shrug off tacklers in the open field and drop the shoulder to add an extra yard or two. He has plenty of zip on the ball and has a quick release, allowing him to quickly attack tighter windows. He can mix up his arm angle and throw off-platform without sacrificing much arm strength. He plays with outstanding pocket awareness and field vision. There are throws littered all over the tape both over the middle of the field and outside the numbers, and he does it while completing 75% of his passes on the year so far. Kilgore is a good athlete and throws a tight football into all areas of the field. He is a massive sleeper and is a clear D1 prospect. I imagine some of those D1 opportunities will open up as we get closer to signing day.”

has been on fire throughout his senior season this fall, he has helped lead Auburn to an undefeated record and continues to put up terrific performances for his team week after week. Last week, Kilgore was unstoppable in Auburn’s (7-0) matchup with Smiths Station (0-8) and was a key reason why his team moved the ball as well as they did in a dominant 70-6 victory. Kilgore is a talented passer and decision-maker who does a great job reading and taking what defenses give him. He consistently finds open receivers and hits them in stride for big gains/scoring plays, it’s really impressive how poised and confident he is when he drops back to pass. Kilgore has a fantastic grasp on his role in Auburn’s offense and it’s shown up every week- this past week against Smiths Station, Kilgore completed 13-18 passing attempts for 205 yards and 6 touchdowns on the night. It’s been really exciting watching Kilgore this season, he continues to find ways to lead his team to wins and has developed into a really talented passer for Auburn. Watch out for him the rest of this year, this team is set up for a serious postseason run!

Kilgore is a talented passer and decision-maker who does a great job reading and taking what defenses give him. Kilgore rarely ever puts the ball in harm’s way and does a great job spreading it across the field to different targets. All of this was easy to see this last week against Enterprise- Kilgore and Auburn’s offense did a terrific job controlling the game and won 53-22. When I first turned on Kilgore’s film, the first attribute that stood out to me was his ability to deliver accurate passes anywhere on the field. In most of the games I watched, a lot of the passing plays were bubble screens and short routes. In those plays, Kilgore showed that he is able to deliver an accurate ball immediately after the snap. Not only are these throws on target, but they are usually in a position that allows the receiver to maximize the number of yards gained.
