[player_tooltip player_id='974922' first='Andrew' last='Alford'] is a really talented passer out of Central that has been great for his offense the last few years and so far this season he's been on fire. Alford has been off to a terrific start this season and last Friday he had a huge performance in a 42-35 win over Dothan. Alford has a ton of talent as a passer- he has terrific arm strength, accuracy, and decision-making skills that have allowed him to completely dismantle defenses the last few seasons. Alford can place the ball anywhere he wants on the field, leads his receivers really well, and isn't afraid to take easy gains with check-downs either. In his team's win this last week, Alford threw the ball all over the field and ended the game completing 13-21 passing attempts for 363 yards and 4 touchdowns. Watch out for Alford the rest of this season, he's a big reason why his team is 4-0 right now and is going to continue to make huge plays the rest of this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='676964' first='Jackson' last='Kilgore'] is a highly productive quarterback out of Auburn who has played really well for his team's offense this season. Kilgore is a talented passer and decision-maker who does a great job reading and taking what defenses give him. Kilgore rarely ever puts the ball in harm's way and does a great job spreading it across the field to different targets. All of this was easy to see this last week against Enterprise- Kilgore and Auburn's offense did a terrific job controlling the game and won 53-22. Throughout the game, Kilgore was able to deliver the ball all over the field and recorded 20-29 passing attempts for 234 yards & TD and 7 carries on the ground for 35 yards. Be sure to watch this Kilgore and this Auburn squad the rest of this year, they've been playing super well and have the potential to go on a serious postseason run this season!

[player_tooltip player_id='1455350' first='Charlie' last='Taafe'] is a really talented second-year quarterback out of Vestavia Hills who has been playing lights out for his offense this season. Taafe has been off to a great start in his sophomore season- he makes quick decisions, has a great arm, is extremely mobile, and has a great understanding of his offense and his role within it. As a passer, Taafe can accurately deliver the ball anywhere on the field- he does a great job reading defenses and consistently can find and accurately hit receivers in stride. Taafe is a great dual threat as well, he has a ton of speed and elusiveness he uses to create and make a bunch of plays on the run. You could see all of this on tape last Friday in his team's 49-17 win over Hillcrest- Taafe ended the game completing 11-of-17 passing attempts for 191 yards and two touchdowns, with an additional 18 carries for 162 yards and 3 touchdowns on the ground. It was extremely impressive watching what Taafe did in this game- with how well he's played, he's going to be a player to keep track of the rest of this year!

[player_tooltip player_id='495323' first='Mason' last='Mims'] has been one of the top quarterbacks in the state over the past few seasons and so far his senior season has been super fun to watch. Mims does an excellent job leading Oxford's offense, he plays with a ton of confidence and can deliver the ball anywhere on the field. Mims' accuracy and efficiency made it extremely hard for Pinson Valley's defense to slow him down, he was able to throw close to a near-perfect game and didn't turn the ball over once. Mims played really well in last week's matchup and was a big reason why Oxford won 40-7- he ended the game with 11-18 passing attempts for 196 yards and 3 touchdowns. Be sure to keep watching Mims and this Oxford team throughout the rest of this season- he's played extremely well and is bound to continue helping his team win games.
