is a junior quarterback that has really done well for Oxford this season, and is proving himself to be one of the top passers in the state. Last week, Mims had himself a fantastic performance in their game against Center Point. Mims showcased just how talented of a passer he is by completing an impressive 24 out of 27 passing attempts for 282 yards and 3 touchdowns. Mims had his accuracy and efficiency on full display- it was extremely hard for Center Point’s defense to create any stops, their passing defense allowed him to throw a near perfect night and they weren’t able to force a turnover at all. It’s clear why Mims has been getting offers from schools like Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, Pittsburgh and more. As long as Mims is at the helm, Oxford can look forward to having a lot more promising performances in the future!
