We've played anywhere from 3-4 games so far here in AZ, and there's already a ton of QB's lighting it up and have stepped up big for their schools. Take a look:

[player_tooltip player_id='883279' first='Kael' last='Snyder'], Perry '27

Snyder has been a massive topic around the state when it was announced that former starter [player_tooltip player_id='954389' first='Diesel' last='Taylor'] was leaving the state, and Syder has lived up to the hype and has Perry looking like a legit open division contender. Snyder has throws for 766 yards and 10 TD's thus far and is playing much more mature than his age. Smart, decisive kid with all of the physical traits to be a double digit offer kid, and he'll only continue to get better.

[player_tooltip player_id='369013' first='Jaxon' last='Knutson'], McClintock '25

I was big on Knutson this offseason and had him projected as a kid to dice it up early, and he id exactly that- throwing for over 1,000 yards and 14 TD's in just these first 3 games. He brings a ton of competitive toughness and moxy to that McClintock huddle, as he threw for well over 400 yards in back to back weeks to the start the year over Maricopa and rival Marcos de Niza. Knutson is rolling through defenses to start the year and I don't think it'll slow down anytime soon.

[player_tooltip player_id='678025' first='Mason' last='Penrod'], Cesar Chavez '27

Penrod has been a program changer at Cesar Chavez, leading them to a 2-1 record thus far with their only loss bing a close 18-27 opening night at Chandler. Rally smooth release with the ability to hit throws with velocity or touch on all 3 levels of throws. A definite future division kid that has a huge opportunity to put Chavez back on the map and push them into being a contender, as he's on the right track for it all.

[player_tooltip player_id='1587237' first='Colten' last='Meyer'], Marana '26

Meyer has been a stud and has taken a clear leap in maturity from his sophomore to junior season, as it looks lie he's very comfortable and poised to start the year. He's thrown for over 1,000 yards and 8 TD's to help Marana start hot with a 3-0 record, and have done so against some elite competition. He flashed a ton of leadership and competitive toughness both week 1 and week 3 in those wins vs Salpointe Catholic and Higley. He shows a really good understanding on how to throw receivers open and utilizes one of the biggest weapons in the state with Roebuck nearly perfect.

Logan LeDrew, Fountain Hills '25

LeDrew was a completely unknown kid coming into 2024 and has absolutely lit it up, throwing for around 800 yards and 12 TD's through 4 games as a first year starter. His toughness is unmatched, as he was hit violently 27 times last week vs a much bigger opponent in 4A Marcos de Niza, popped up after each hit, and proceeded to throw for over 250 yards and 4 TD's. He does a great job commanding the offense and identifying coverage shells, and follows up with a quick, decisive release to get the ball to his playmakers in space or soft spots.
