2027 Watchlist to Ranked

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Insight into the 2027 prospects that moved up from the watchlist to the rankings. </h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Strong two-way athlete at WR and DE with great size and frame at 6'3” 215 lbs. entering his sophomore year. He's a natural athlete with plus body control and coordination to track and adjust to ball flight at WR/TE. His size and strength make him a tough tackle after the catch for secondary defenders. At DE, he flashes great initial quickness off the ball with the ability to beat blockers with his strength or quickness off the edge. Picked up his initial college offer from Arizona State in March and will see more recruiting attention as he's able to showcase his size and skillset.</p>   <p class="text-gray-700"></p>      <p class="text-gray-700">Gained some experience as a freshman where he flashed his versatility and potential to be one of the state's top 2027 QB's. Great natural ability and feel for the game with a strong 6'2” 200 lb. frame. A true dual-threat that can attack defenses with his arm or his legs. Shows a great ability to evade pressure and create plays when protection breaks down. Possesses natural arm strength delivering velocity and zip at the short/intermediate levels and the distance/trajectory needed to push the ball vertically. Size and strength make him tough to bring down whether in the pocket or when he pulls it down to tuck it and run. He's got good length and growth potential in his frame at 6'2” 180 lbs. On defense, he's an attacking defender that flashes excellent range and ability against both the run and pass. He makes quick decisive reads to diagnose the play and trigger to the ball. Takes good angles and proves to be a reliable open field tackler. A playmaker on both sides of the ball that will be a major impact player for Crismon going into the 2024 season.</p>      <p class="text-gray-700">Transferred to Centennial after being selected the 3A Freshman Player of the Year at Sabino in 2023. He's a dynamic athlete with a well-rounded skillset to play multiple positions. Shows he can match lateral movement and stay in phase using his change of direction and lateral agility at the short and intermediate levels while possessing the long speed to cover vertically. Easy transition from back pedal to his break with the reactionary quickness to trigger and play the ball at the catch point. One to watch.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Overstreet was listed on PRZ's Next Up series and lands himself in the rankings going into his sophomore year. Transferred to Centennial from Saguaro where he flashed raw ability and potential on both sides of the ball at TE and LB. At 6'3” 180 lbs. he's a strong receiving TE that can get open or create throwing lanes with positional leverage. Catches the ball well with his hands and can use his length to extend to bring in catches outside his frame. Capable LB that plays downhill and attacks ball carriers. Can run and redirect in the short area to pursuit the ball. Brings his feet and hips through contact to deliver heavy contact at the POA. Skillset can transition to either side of the ball as he progresses.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Grohman checks a lot of boxes as a college level lineman with his combination of size, length, and mobility. 6'5” 270 lbs. with a well-balanced frame and room to grow. Flashes plus movement skills and initial quickness out of his stance to get to his spot and gain positioning. Moves his feet well to execute different blocks and shows he can be an effective blocker in space. Powerful at the contact point, he's able to control defenders with hands and latch on to sustain throughout the play. Gets into kick step quickly and can work laterally to stay in front in his pass set.
