PRZVA Team Preview: Colgan Sharks

<!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Last years Result: 4-6</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Colgan is still fairly new to the High School football scene out here in Manassas, establishing themselves back in 2017, the Sharks have yet to reach the post-season. They were within a couple of plays of reaching the playoffs for the first time in school history, and are building something special entering year three of the Head Coach Reggie Scott era. His 8.5 sacks last fall were good enough for a single-season school record and there is little to no reason why cannot overtake that in 2024. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>He is big and fast off the edge and his closing speed is impressive, rarely do you see quarterbacks beat him to the outside. Starting as a sophomore a year ago, Hall took the Cardinal District by storm and become one of our top ranked quarterbacks in his class.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Colgan replaces a lot of firepower on offense but Hall is still there ready to drop dimes and make defenders pay. He is 6'0 with good length and speed and you will not see him back down from anyone. He went toe to toe last year against some of the best receivers in the state and held his own. I remember watching his all-conference worthy performance against Gar-Field thinking that this kid was ready for spotlight. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Do not be surprised if Fortner isn't involved offensively for the Sharks as Junior too, he has the wheels and hands to do so.
