We have consistently ranked Kamara in our top 100 overall for the past 3 years, regardless of where he has been enrolled at. Coming off an excellent junior season for Woodbridge, he made a strong case of winning the MVP honors for his work in the lineman challenge. Going against elite offensive linemen he was a pain to block. I thought outside of Saint James that Woodbridge had a great showing all around. Keeping Division 1 prospects like Kamara in the fold will certainly help the Vikings state title aspirations.

Kamara transferred to Woodbridge prior to his junior season and it paid off. Notching 13.5 sacks, he really took the next step in his game and boosted his ranking to 5th overall. He is long and fast off the edge and just scratching the surface of his potential. At 6’2 and 240 lbs., Kamara is an explosive edge rusher that should get offers soon.

Kamara transfers in after two high impact seasons with the Colgan Sharks as our 60th ranked 2027 prospect. Pretty good numbers for his sophomore season which figure to increase playing for what may be the best defense in the region. Alhaji has a ton of potential for the next level and really seems to be settling in nicely with his new surroundings. Do not forget about this man, he is FCS level or higher prospect.

An OLB/Edge defender, Alhaji shows he can produce in run defense and pass rush. He can align in two, three, and four-point stances. I believe he could also offer reps at a Stacked-LB position as well. He shows that he is disciplined on the edge, reading his keys and reacting to make a play. He shows lateral agility to defend the run inside down the line of scrimmage and can contain the edge. He shows solid speed in pass rush to get to the QB, taking good angles. He does a good job at using his hands to keep linemen out of his chest. I’m excited to see the development of Alhaji on the field as he continues to grow and develop his body.

Kamara was one of our biggest risers when we updated our 2027 rankings, he jumped up all the way into our top 30 and that is without even being starter last fall. You have to feel that we are truly on the verge of a breakout with this young man, lining up opposite side of David at defensive end, Kamara may reach 15 sacks as a sophomore.

Colgan has some dudes over their and are on the brink of something special under Head Coach Reggie Scott it seems inevitable. Outside linebacker/defensive end Alhaji Kamara Alhaji Kamara 6'2" | 240 lbs | LB/EDGE Woodbridge | 2027 State VA is a man amongst boys and should be a good position to take off this season. 6’2 and 220 lbs. now the young man is coming into his own and is a Division 1 prospect.

Kamara is very impressive and has a chance to make serious head waves in the Cardinal district next fall. He is 6’1 and 205 lbs. and he is still growing into form playing outside linebacker and defensive end for the Sharks. He is very good and quick off the and once he begins to get his pads under him become one of the best pass rushers in the conference. Kamara already saw time as a freshman last fall, playing alongside big time talents such as Khyber Foster Khyber Foster 5'10" | 225 lbs | DL Colgan | 2027 VA and LJ Richards LJ Richards 6'1" | 220 lbs | LB/RB Gar-Field | 2026 State VA , this Colgan defense is going to be good.
