Cameron Davis Jr. Cameron Davis Jr. 6'3" | 220 lbs | DL Colgan | 2025 VA was a man amongst boys at times for the Colgan Sharks defensive line. One of the Cardinal district leaders in sacks, Davis came into his own his final season for Coach Scott. I remember when Coach specifically singled him out in my pre-season preview of Colgan knowing how big of an impact Davis was going to have. Turns out he was right, Davis tore thru the district notching double digit sacks.

When I reached out to colleague Carl to ask if he had any names I should add to this article, Cameron’s came up quick. He has good height and frame, with room to add mass. Good athletic ability displaying very good balance, good explosiveness, lateral agility, acceleration, foot quickness, flexibility, solid foot speed, and change of direction. Good upfield burst, playing with good pad level and explosiveness, engaging the OL with good use of hands to engage, and shedding the block with a quick rip move. Good quickness in his pass rush using his power to drive the OL back with good leg drive and block shed with good finish to disrupt the pass. Shows good strength in run defense to hold his gap, using his length to separate from the OL and make a tackle in the gap.

6’3 and 220 lbs. rising senior Cameron Davis is going to play Division 2 football or higher I am convinced. His 8.5 sacks last fall were good enough for a single-season school record and there is little to no reason why cannot overtake that in 2024.

He is big and fast off the edge and his closing speed is impressive, rarely do you see quarterbacks beat him to the outside. Already with an offer from Stevenson University, I expect him to highly courted by division 2 schools throughout the country.
