[player_tooltip player_id='386322' first='David' last='Warde'] is a good two-way player for William Penn. At wide receiver, he does a nice job of running routes and making difficult catches. If the ball is thrown in his direction he usually comes down with the ball. He is good on 50/50 balls where he out-jumps defenders. He also does a good job of catching the ball and making defenders miss in the open field. At defensive back, he has excellent coverage skills. He shows good speed and moves well covering players. Warde is a good prospect that with a strong Senior Year should have a chance to play College Football.

[player_tooltip player_id='386132' first='Wanieq' last='Scott'] and [player_tooltip player_id='386322' first='David' last='Warde'] make a great 1-2 punch at wide receiver for William Penn. Scott is also a talented wide receiver who can do it all on the football field. Below is what I wrote about him earlier this:

"[player_tooltip player_id='386132' first='Wanieq' last='Scott'] is a playmaker at wide receiver for William Penn. Last year he showed the ability to play both as an outside and inside wide receiver. He made plays all over the field. Scott is good on deep balls where he uses his size to go up and make big-time catches. He is good at making contested catches. Scott is also good after the catch by making people miss and running by them for big plays. Scott is the complete package at wide receiver".

[player_tooltip player_id='1155834' first='Shavane' last='Anderson'] exploded onto the scene last year as a running back for William Penn. He had a great sophomore year and his recruitment has started to pick up with some early college football offers. Anderson has the elite tools of a running back. He is elusive and hard to bring down. He also has elite speed. He should pick up playing defense as well this year. Below is what my colleague [player_tooltip player_id='1156407' first='Vic' last='Castillo'] said about him.

"We last checked in on William Penn York's [player_tooltip player_id='1155834' first='Shavane' last='Anderson'] after he announced his break into FBS recruiting circles, with Kent State offering the top-ten 2026 running back. Anderson recently (May 31st) announced another scholarship opportunity headed his way, this time out of nearby Saint Francis University. I think Anderson has Power Four potential, it's worth noting the 2026 back recently came back from Happy Valley post-camping at Penn State. Something to keep an eye on moving forward".

[player_tooltip player_id='399271' first='Amani' last='Bones'] played as a running back in spot duty behind [player_tooltip player_id='1155834' first='Shavane' last='Anderson'] and as a outside linebacker. At running back he shows good explosioness. He has a physical running style and is hard to bring down. He also has good speed and when he gets into the open field he runs past defenders. On defense he is a match up nightmare. He can be used as a outside linebacker and a edge defender. As a outside linebacker he does a nice job of recognizing the player and coming upfield to make the tackle. When he plays on the edge has has great instincts and explodes off the ball to make tackles in then open field. Bones should continue to be a good player next season on both sides of the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='855324' first='Najee' last='Still'] started most the season as the quaterback for William Penn.

"Boasts a six-minute tape on Hudl. Tossed over 1,000 yards, 10+ scores in 8 games played, I'm not positive on the total amount of true starts under his belt, considering he did not start opening week against Harrisburg while I was in attendance. The first QB to crack the Top20, operates out of ten personnel frequently, is tasked with rolling out to his throwing side often, moving his launch point and opening up passing lanes, making defenders think post-snap is a priority, [player_tooltip player_id='855324' first='Najee' last='Still'] excels in this position. WPY likes to run a two-man curl/wheel with Still rolling toward the set, Still does a great job locating his open man downfield both inside and out of the pocket. Still has no problem giving his vertical shot a chance, although I like the decisiveness shown when attacking short/intermediate routes, he isn't thinking at the position, he's seeing and reacting, which is a plus. Arm talent ceiling might be a bit low, hopefully we see him get the ball out in front of his speedy wideouts a bit more frequently, even so, he gets the job done. Good build, one that can absorb pressure and still move if need be. Good grades, good skillset, an offseason full of refinement is in order, hope to see a 2024 version of Still that places even higher on our ranks next update".
