in the game, Scott was able to stretch the field with his stride, locate an accurate ball by Stills some 40+ yards downfield, and reel in a highly difficult catch. Locating the football while maintaining his balance and speed, Scott has come a long way. Scott would also reel in 3/4 other catches, all of which he showed off better than expected wiggle in open space. I expect Scott to run free downfield, I expect him to be a burner. What I didn’t expect is his solid ability to make kids miss with the rock in his hand. Tough to say good things overall, but I like the week Scott had.

make a great 1-2 punch at wide receiver for William Penn. Scott is also a talented wide receiver who can do it all on the football field. Below is what I wrote about him earlier this:

is a playmaker at wide receiver for William Penn. Last year he showed the ability to play both as an outside and inside wide receiver. He made plays all over the field. Scott is good on deep balls where he uses his size to go up and make big-time catches. He is good at making contested catches. Scott is also good after the catch by making people miss and running by them for big plays. Scott is the complete package at wide receiver”.

off the Watchlist. I have been tracking this kid for some time, yet we didn’t have the substantial tape to justify him over other recruits. We now have real tape, good enough tape to have Scott debuting inside our Top 300. Scott’s entire skillset, his stride, build, speed, hands, they all equate to a prospect who is likely to range from 100-250 by the time his senior season ends. Hell, I could see Scott light up the recruiting trail this summer, he’s a legitimate candidate to skyrocket on our boards before training camp this coming Summer. Scott lands at 280 as a modest, wait-and-see ranking. 280 is certainly the young man’s floor, he boasts one of the higher ceilings of any WR ranked outside of the top ten. Landing inside the top 25 at his position is noteworthy.

is expected to jump from Watchlist to ranked after this coming update in July. That might actually surprise some, including Scott himself, considering the young man doesn’t have tape from last Fall. Obviously, he still doesn’t have tape to his name outside of his freshman year. Still, I’ve heard rumors and rumbles of this young man’s potential, as well as how far he’s come this offseason. Dylan Callaghan Croley said good things about him recently, after seeing him at the York Mega Practice. The young man has an ideal frame, carrying a 6’2, 165-pound frame as just a sophomore. Scott also boasts a self-listed 4.5 40 under his belt. At this point, since he’s becoming an upperclassman, we will more than likely begin to reflect his potential via ranking.

I didn’t get to watch a ton of Scott but he caught my eye when I was watching the wide receivers. He has his lengthy 6-foot-2 frame and showed quality speed throughout the event as well. He’s a good route runner with strong hands. Will get to finally show his abilities on the field at a consistent rate this upcoming fall as well.
