Physically,
Jacez Walton
Jacez
Walton
5'10" | 190 lbs | RB
Central | 2028
GA
is ready today to handle a load of carries at the varsity level. He is listed at 5’10 193 and is noticeably built on tape. He is still finding that extra gear as a runner, but he is difficult to bring down once he gets going. For his age, Walton appears to have an advanced knowledge of the position. He stays square to the line when he runs, keeping the entire field in his sights as he pinpoints running lanes. He doesn’t overrun his blockers, keeping a hand on his blocks and sticks on them as he climbs each level. Walton is a multi-sport athlete. He is in need of that extra gear, which he should find naturally.
Keshon Blow
Keshon
Blow
5'7" | 155 lbs | RB
Buford | 2028
GA
started to really make a name for himself the last two offseasons, performing well on the camp circuit and at the UA Next All-American Game this past January. Blow runs with exceptional balance and change of direction. Athletically, he is on par with any RB that Georgia has to offer in the 2028 class. All that’s left now is for him to add more size, which should happen naturally thanks to his age. Blow should receive P4 buzz pretty early into his HS career at Buford.
Athletically, Chatmon might be further along than any GA RB in the 2028 class. He is already up to 5’7 170. He has tested well on the camp circuit and has clocked in at 11.9 in the 100M. On tape, his speed is put on full display. He plays on easy mode against kids his age, easily outrunning angles and staying away from chasing defenders. He runs with plenty of force from his legs, allowing him to pinball off defenders and stay on his feet through contact. In middle school, he got the ball a lot on screen plays that allowed him to make plays in space. That versatility and experience should help him find the field early.
Highlights
Ward’s speed potential is through the roof. At our showcase this past offseason, he clocked 4.57 in the 40 and tested well across the board. He is also a track athlete. Ward is only going to get bigger, which should allow him to adjust to the varsity game very well. He is a speedster who needs the ball in his hands, which could allow him to find the field in some capacity as a freshman.

Kevin Hartsfield
Kevin
Hartsfield
5'11" | 185 lbs | RB
Newton | 2028
GA
is already reporting an early offer from Georgia State, instantly landing him on this list. Hartfield has projected as an RB in his early years, but it looks like he might start out at WR in HS, at least that’s where he got reps this spring. He is shifty in space and has some make-miss to his game. He will thrive getting the ball in space, which might be a solid reason for splitting him out wide. However, at 5’11 185, he is already well-built and will only get bigger. If he can get up to 5’11 200, a move back to RB would absolutely make sense.
Calvin Wynn flashed at our PRZ Next showcase this offseason, testing towards the top in every category and consistently winning against LBs in 1v1s. He took home MVP for the RB group. He is on the smaller side, but his burst and sheer athleticism will allow him to make plays as he adds more weight. Once that weight comes, he will be tough to handle on any down and distance. Wynn has FBS upside and is another candidate to find the field early.
Highlights
Tony Reid Tony Reid RB GA Jr is a multi-sport athlete and is already a bulldozer. Most other players on this list bring lateral and twitchy explosiveness, but Reid is a pure north/south runner who will shrug off tacklers and drive a pile when needed. Reid is in a league of his own when it comes to frame and could be ready to go physically at the varsity level. His future development in the speed department will determine his upside, but he is clearly a multi-year contributor at the varsity level. He will play HS ball this fall at Calhoun.
As we continue to introduce the 2028 class to the recruiting scene in Georgia, it's time to bring some RBs to the table. Here are 7 that could find the field early.
