Blue-chip recruits [player_tooltip player_id='670812' first='Larry' last='Moon III'], [player_tooltip player_id='256526' first='Colsen' last='Gatten'], [player_tooltip player_id='402456' first='Matt' last='Sieg'], [player_tooltip player_id='646684' first='Brendan' last='Alexander'], and [player_tooltip player_id='861406' first='Jayden' last='Price'] have been hot recruits all month long. The remarkable thing is the amount of talent being offered in Western Pennsylvania is growing rapidly every day. The best thing about Zach is that he's only going into his sophomore season at Chartiers Valley. The class of 2027 defensive back plays with good bend, possesses adequate footwork, and has above-average ball skills. He performed well at Pitt's camp, which led to his first offers. Timmons performed well at WVU's camp clocking in at 4.4 in the forty-yard dash. The 26' DB is a technically sound player that shows flashes of physicality when he tackles. He's aggressive in bump-and-run and competes hard in coverage. In his sophomore season he finished with 2 Ints and several PBU's which will only improve over the next two seasons. He received his first FBS offer from Bowling Green in February and hasn't looked back since. In the past month alone, Barksdale has notched six additional offers. It's easy to see why Division I programs are interested in the speedy specialist. Donald's explosion and breakaway speed are on full display in his game film. It's refreshing to see a prospect who consistently works even harder than his lofty projections suggest. His offer list over the last month reflects both his potential and present capabilities. Moon has recently received offers from prestigious Power Five programs such as Michigan, Notre Dame, Kentucky, LSU, Minnesota, UNC, and Kansas, to name a few. So far, Larry has not only lived up to his PrepRedzone ranking but has exceeded it. The 6'1.5, 210-pound linebacker has picked up several Power Five offers in recent weeks. Gatten's size, strength, and tenacity on the gridiron are all FBS-caliber traits. Colsen has recently been offered by Kentucky, Boston College, and Texas A&amp;M. He already holds FBS offers from Michigan, Penn State, Pitt, Wisconsin, Nebraska, West Virginia, Syracuse, Duke, Tennessee, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, and Maryland. ESPN's 13th-ranked athlete in his class has been on many FBS radars, and the offers are starting to come in. Sieg's latest batch of scholarships came from Michigan State, Syracuse, Rutgers, Buffalo, and Robert Morris University. Selfishly, I would love to see Matt in the defensive backfield at the D1 level, but he's also capable of playing offense. Brendan has good bend, violent hands, and is light on his feet in pass protection. His last batch of FBS offers came from Arkansas, Stanford, Michigan State, Georgia Tech, and UCONN. Alexander has performed well in the camps he's attended thus far. The class of 2026 OL/DL had a good visit to WVU's campus two days ago. What I loved about Price was his size as a 6'3 cornerback mixed with a natural ability to execute man coverage. Apparently, D1 programs feel the same way, as Price has received five offers this month. He has 12 offers in total, with his last five coming from Toledo, Buffalo, Akron, Army, and Lehigh. One thing that's exceptional about Price is his quick twitch as a 6'3" cornerback. He possesses good ball skills, hips, and footwork, which will likely result in more scholarships before summer‘s end.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
