Bay Area Updated Visit/Commitment Report

<p>As the final weekend of Summer Official Visits wrapped up before July 1st, there were tons of the regions top prospects taking their visits, committing to their respective schools and other's gathering first offers. Below, we will highlight all of the updated recruiting news and updates over the past week from around the Bay Area region.</p>    <p class="text-gray-700">Myers was one of the more sought after pass rushers across California, and currently holds 10 offers. He took his first official visit over the weekend to Oregon State, and committed to the Beavers. He is an explosive and violent edge rusher that should be atop the leaderboard across the North Coast Section this Fall for what should be a loaded Newman defense. </p>    <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/JesseMyer9/status/1805088255001686340 </div></figure>    <p class="text-gray-700">Ajose is one of the top uncommitted prospects across California, and announced that he will be making his decision this week. After taking official Visits to Washington and Cal over the past couple weeks, he is down to Utah, Cal, Washington and Oregon State. Ajose is rated as a high 3-star prospect and is one of the top two-way players across California. </p>    <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/DejiAjose7/status/1804899154914590825 </div></figure>    <p class="text-gray-700">Houseworth is one of the top tight end prospects in the entire state, and one of the more sought after prospects across the region. The 3-star prospect took his official visit to Cal over the weekend, and committed yesterday to the Golden Bears which is a big time pickup for them. He is an elite athlete for his size with tremendous speed, a big catch radius and is a violent blocker that will be one of the best across the North Coast Section this Fall. </p>    <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/Jake_Houseworth/status/1805062617381446025 </div></figure>    <p class="text-gray-700">Craft is another 3-star prospect and one of the top dual-threat signal callers in the state, and shines both on the football field and track, as he is one of the fastest prospects in Northern California. Craft had multiple next level opportunities but ultimately committed to Fresno State earlier this month and is one of two Bay Area signal callers that will be playing for the Bulldogs next Fall. </p>    <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/JonathanPCraft/status/1803561930210287751 </div></figure>    <p class="text-gray-700">Rooks remains one of the top uncommitted defensive linemen in the state as we head into July, and could be closing in on a decision sooner rather than later. Rooks holds 17 offers to this point, and has attended the Sac State, Stanford and Cal camp this summer and done well at each one, especially in the one on one's against top competition.
