Ajose has had an impressive start to his Senior season, and helped lead the Dragons to a huge upset win over Monte Vista on Friday night to move them to 2-0 on the season. The Washington commit and 3-star prospect dominated on both sides of the ball against the Mustangs and had 8 receptions for 145 yards and two scores while playing on both sides of the ball and continuing to show why he is one of the top true two-way players across California.

Highly versatile skillset that impacts the game in all three phases as a high schooler and has the ability to transition to either side of the ball at the college level. Possesses good size and length in his frame at 6’2” 190 lbs. with the growth potential to add weight as he develops/progresses. At receiver, he flashes excellent initial speed off the line using his hard drive phase to close DB cushion and run by coverage. He’s a strider that has the long speed to stretch the field vertically. On defense, he flies up to attack the ball carrier flashing good change of direction and acceleration out of his break. He’s got plus range to play sideline to sideline and can break down in space to make an open field tackle. One of the fastest rising prospects in the state this offseason bringing in eight D1 offers and making a huge jump in the updated 2025 rankings.

announced his commitment to Washington on June 29.
He caught 28 passes for 277 yards with three touchdowns last season. Defensively, he had 11 tackles, an interception with two forced fumbles.
Some say he projects better as a safety than a receiver but Washington is bringing him in as a receiver.
Ajose had seven other offers and also took visits to Oregon State, Utah and Cal. He is one of seven players from California in Washington’s 2025 recruiting class.

Ajose is another excellent two-way player for the Dragons, and has a nice combination of size, strength and speed for either a SS/OLB position at the next level. He is a very fluid athlete with outstanding ball skills, can track and tackle in space and also has the range and open field speed to shut down the entire back half of the field with a very high football IQ and natural instincts. He has also been one of the more faster rising prospects out of northern California this Spring, and has picked up offers from Utah, Cal, Oregon State, SJSU, and Washington State. Look for other schools to get into the mix of his recruitment in the up and coming Spring eval period.
