Putnam City's [player_tooltip player_id='1297663' first='Gabriel' last='Osborne'] is a prospect that is definitely flying under the radar right now in the state's 2027 class. Osborne has had a really good offseason on the basketball floor but his athleticism and size absolutely translates to the football field in a major way. His film from his freshman season is limited but the plays that we did see from last fall put him in a relatively high tier within the state's 2027 class. Osborne might be a name that isn't known right now in football circles but that could definitely change in the next six months. Don't be surprised if he ends up being a borderline top ten or even top five prospect sooner rather than later.

Cascia Hall wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1067472' first='Fisher' last='Lai'] had an outstanding freshman season as the Commandos moved to a pass-first offense and multiple school records were set. Lai was a borderline 1,000-yard receiver last season and we think he definitely could eclipse that this season. Lai is the first of several guys on this breakdown that probably should have already been ranked in the first place. Lai also had a strong offseason on the 7v7 circuit and he was primarily working on the defensive side of the ball at corner. We have him listed as a wide receiver right now but the truth is he could probably be considered on either side of the ball.

Broken Arrow lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1297664' first='Carter' last='Archer'] is a prospect we're fired up to see more of this season. At first, we found about Archer for what he could do on the defensive side of the ball. But then we turn around in the last month and find out that he's looked good on the offensive side of the ball as well. Broken Arrow's offensive line is really talented. They're young, but the talent is there for them to grow into a very good group. Archer is one of the prospects to watch on the line of scrimmage. Whether he's lining up on offense or defense, he's going to be a name to watch for the Tigers this season and moving forward.

We'll start this with stating again how we love the 2027 defensive line group already. It is deep and it is very talented. Hilldale's [player_tooltip player_id='933579' first='Kaiden' last='Ford'] is another name you need to know at that position moving forward. When you compare him to some of the other guys at the position in the class, he doesn't have that prototypical size that others have. But when you watch him go to work in person or on film, the skill set is off the charts. From strictly a skills and moves standpoint, Ford is already one of the best guys in the class. He'll have to overcome questions about his size for the defensive tackle position but he is outstanding.

Our final newcomer is another example of a guy that probably should have already been on this list. Owasso defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='696152' first='Cole' last='Campbell'] is a prospect that they've been excited about for a while now. He earned playing time last season as a freshman and he returns to a secondary that has a lot of talent. In fact, the Owasso defense as a whole has the potential to be one of the better defenses in 6A-1 football this season. Campbell is going to be a name to watch because there will be a lot of eyes on this Owasso defense because they have highly rated prospects everywhere. Campbell will benefit from that exposure.
