Hinojosa is a freshman who had a good performance. He measures in at 5’9 152 pounds. His combine stats are as follows: 4.93 40-yard dash, 4.81 shuttle, 8’0 broad jump, 7.64 L-drill. Hinojosa showed a good back peddle during the drills. Able to keep up with the WR and give him problems. If he got beat during one play, he’d get back and compete the next. Good footwork.
Highlights
Offerdahl was the MVP of DBs and with good reason. Offerdahl measures in at 5’11 174 pounds. His combine stats are as follows: 4.89 40-yard dash, 4.26 shuttle, 9’0 broad jump, 7.42 L-drill. He showcased his good athletic ability throughout the drills. During the drills against the WRs, he was sticky like glue. If he got beat, the next play he would compete and come out on top. Shifty DB who uses his length to disrupt passes.
Highlights
Romo had a nice camp. The freshman measures in at 6’1 162 pounds. His combine stats are as follows: 4.97 40-yard dash, 4.63 shuttle, 8’5 broad jump, 7.77 L-drill. Romo has good size for a corner and uses his length to disrupt passes. Good press jam at the line of scrimmage to change the WR’s direction. Good in man coverage and was physical with the receivers. Good footwork to keep up with the WRs 1,2-shake at the LOS.
Highlights
Nichols had a nice performance as well. He measures in at 5’10 148 pounds. His combine stats are as follows: 4.61 40-yard dash, 4.41 shuttle, 8’7 broad jump, 7.27 L-drill. Nichols killed it during the drills. He was sticky like glue to his WRs and was disrupting passes. Good back peddle while maintaining eyes on the QB. Shifty footwork, and had good press at the line of scrimmage.
Another freshmen DB, Cole measures in at 5’10 140 pounds. His combine stats are as follows: 4.64 40-yard dash, 4.44 shuttle, 8’7 broad jump, 7.07 L-drill. If Cole got beat, he’d come back and win the next. He was consistently keeping up with the WRs, giving them a headache with his press at the LOS. Good speed and acceleration. If beat will use his speed to catch up to them.
