Anthony Smith is a talented quarterback in the 2028 class. He has excellent mechanics. He has arm release when he throws the ball, where it is right over top. He shows good footwork and he can slide to each side and still deliver the ball. Smith also throws an accurate ball. Smith showed that he is one of the most talented quarterbacks in the 2028 class.
Highlights
Chase Rule has a strong and accurate arm as an 8th-grade quarterback. I found his arm impressive because of the variety of tough throws he can complete. He throws a good deep ball and puts the perfect amount of touch on the ball. He also shows good arm strength by throwing deep-out routes. Rule also showed good pocket presence. He moves well In the pocket. Rule is a talented quarterback whose ceiling is very high.
Elvis Koutsakis is a dual-threat quarterback who made some of the craziest plays I have seen on film. When he feels pressure he is like a magician in the pocket. He several times made plays outside the pocket where he scrambled away from defenders, and then either looked for teammates downfield to get open or ran for big plays. He is still learning to develop patience in the pocket but he has a strong and accurate arm. Once he understands the importance of reading the defense and getting rid of the ball he will go to the next level and I would not bet against Koutsakis.
Jahmil Hawkins is a smooth operator as a quarterback. He does well sitting in the pocket and finding open receivers. He seems to understand passing concepts well and knows where he wants to throw the ball. Then when he throws the ball he has good footwork and throws an excellent football. Hawkins is also a good athlete who can used in the run game. Hawkins has the tools to be a successful quarterback in high school.
Highlights
Johnny Hopkins has excellent fundamentals at the quarterback position. He has good feet in the pocket and excellent mechanics throwing the ball. Another area of strength for him is his play fakes. He is good at faking the run game and then throwing a good ball to his receivers. Hopkins is also good in the run game and does a good job reading his keys and running with the ball when it is needed. Hopkins has a ton of potential.
