Shepardson was one of the standouts from week 1 and he is a natural ball hawk being able to bring pressure off of the edge. He has the strength to set the edge and get off of the block quickly to make a tackle in the backfield. He is a player that can hit home when his number is called and bring the QB down. He will be a player to keep an eye on moving forward and should be a stock watch this summer.
Highlights
Sanchez was another backer/edge standout from week 1 and is a player that has a motor. He can play standing or with his hand in the dirt and bring pressure when his number is called. He has the vision to read run plays quickly and make plays in the backfield. He has the speed to put pressure on the QB and can bring the QB down when he gets his hands on him. He will be a player to keep on the radar and should be able to make a big impact on this defensive squad that can bring the heat.
Highlights
Crowe is the definition of a baller and is a menace on the defensive end. He has a motor and can track down the ball, making plays in the backfield from the other side of formations at times. He is a player with a lot of speed at his size and has an explosive first step, being able to be his opponent with speed or power to get pressure on the QB. He will be a big piece to this group being able to anchor this defense and being able to make a lot of plays behind the line of scrimmage. He will be a player that you will be familiar with at the top of the rankings.
Highlights
Aukland is a DB that is a baller and has been turning some heads for awhile and now has put the state on notice. He was showing great vision in the game, being able to read the play and flying downhill to make plays near the line of scrimmage. He is able to lock down his side of the field and plays like his hair is on fire. He is a great open field tackler and can bring some power behind his tackling. He will be a player to know moving forward and will be a safety to watch on the rankings.
Highlights
Shuss was another defensive standout that is an explosive player that is smooth in his back pedal and can get out of his breaks quickly to come up and make a play. He is a player that is always around the football and is able to take good pursuit angles to get in on plays. He will be a player to keep an eye on as he is able to support in the running game and can come down with some INTs as well. He is a natural ball hawk and should be on the radar moving forward.
