This weekend, we will be in Louisville, Kentucky for a stop that looks to be loaded with talent. With that being said, I wanted to preview the combine by focusing on some top players in each class that will be attending. To kick things off, here are some top 2025 prospects to watch at this weekend’s Prep Redzone Combine Series camp in Kentucky.
Peyton Smith Peyton Smith 5’11” | 190 lbs | RB Frederick Douglass | 2025 State KY is a player that has been high on our radar for a while now and is coming into his senior year with high expectations. Smith is coming off a strong junior year at Taylor County where he carried the ball 165 times for 1,538 yards and 21 touchdowns in 12 games. He has explosive speed, showing the ability to get to the outside in a hurry and run away from the defense. Smith has also shown the ability to make catches out of the backfield, finishing his junior year with 10 receptions for 93 yards. He also returned one kickoff for a touchdown this past season. Peyton currently holds offers from Eastern Kentucky and Western Michigan, and I expect more to come his way as a lot of eyes will be on him at Frederick Douglass.

Jeremiah Lynn Jeremiah Lynn 5’11” | 190 lbs | WR Trinity | 2025 State KY is a receiver that caught my attention with a strong junior year. He finished this past season with 58 catches for 1,050 yards and 14 touchdowns in 13 games. Lynn is a dangerous deep threat, showing the ability to use his speed to blow by opposing defensive backs with ease. He is also impressive after the catch, showing the ability to turn short passes into big gains at any given moment. Lynn doesn’t currently hold any offers but he is definitely a player that college coaches should keep an eye on heading into his senior year.

Bryant Mathis Bryant Mathis 5’10” | 180 lbs | RB Madison Central | 2025 State KY is another player that jumped onto my radar with a strong junior season. He had an impressive year out of the backfield, running the ball 223 times for 1,281 yards and 14 touchdowns in 12 games. Mathis has dangerous speed, showing the ability to run away from the defense with ease once he hits the open field. He has also shown the contact balance to break tackles without losing stride. Mathis also finished this past season with 15 receptions for 91 yards and a touchdown. Bryant doesn’t currently hold any offers but I wouldn’t be surprised to see some come his way soon as he has the talent to be a productive running back at the next level.
Keegan Reeder Keegan Reeder 6’3″ | 260 lbs | OL Corbin | 2025 State KY is an offensive lineman that has been high on my radar for a while now and continued to stand out this past season. Reeder lines up at right tackle where he is very impressive as a run blocker. He does a great job of exploding out of his stance and driving his man down the field. Reeder has also shown the ability to pull from the tackle spot and pick up blocks in open space. He is also reliable in pass protection, showing the ability to keep a strong base and defeat pass rush moves with ease. Reeder currently holds an offer from UVA Wise and I expect more to come his way as he has the talent to play at the next level.
Cameron Jessee Cameron Jessee 6’2″ | 230 lbs | ATH Louisville DuPont Manual | 2025 State KY is another player that has been high on my radar for a while now and continued to impress this past season. On defense, Jessee lines up at defensive end where he is able to use his speed to blow by opposing offensive tackles off the edge to get to the quarterback. He finished this past season with 11 sacks in 12 games. Jessee also finished the year with 77 tackles, eight tackles for loss, and one interception which he returned for a touchdown. Cameron also plays a key role on offense at tight end, finishing his junior year with nine receptions for 169 yards and a touchdown. Hatfield lines up at defensive tackle where he is very reliable against the run. He does a great job of using his strength to fight through blocks and get to the ball carrier in a hurry. Once he gets to the ball carrier, he is a very reliable tackler in the open field. Jace finished this past season with 53 tackles and three tackles for loss in 12 games. He has also shown the ability to rush the passer, finishing his junior year with two sacks. Jace doesn’t currently hold any offers but he is definitely a player to keep an eye on heading into his senior year.
