Some are extremely advanced, some are solid but need a lot of improvement, and some are just raw and trying to learn. In this article, we’re going to focus on the youngest of the young in the state of Michigan that are on the trajectory towards being next level prospects in the coming years!
Trey has been on the radars of many across the state for a little while now. He already has pretty darn good size, and he has some natural ability to go with it and if he continues to work on those traits, he could be a highly touted prospect before long. I love the zip on the football on short and intermediate throws, and he shows accuracy even under some fire. He will need to continue to work on deep ball accuracy but I have very little doubt that he will polish that up with experience and gaining strength. I think Trey will be a fun one to see develop in the weight room to pack weight on his frame, and to see him continue to work on his mechanics and overall quarterbacking skill.
I’ve been tracking Drew for well over a year now, and I can confidently say that he will be a fun one to watch. Drew is starting to fill in physically, and his skill development is coming along great. I have seen him throw all over varsity starters for quite awhile now, and he is only getting more impressive. Drew has super technical footwork, and has improved vastly in his arm strength and accuracy. He is incredibly active in the offseason and puts a ton of work into his craft, and that by itself will be worth a ton as he continues to develop. I think you’ll be hearing a ton from him soon.

I have no doubt this will be a bellcow back for De La Salle before his high school stint is over. Brady runs angry, and his limited film shows how he is able to use his good physical characteristics to blow through arm tackles, and always falls forward for extra yardage. Brady is doing all the right things off the field like living in the weight room and training hard on his game to be the best he can be, so don’t be shocked if he is able to get some snaps and eventually be THE guy in the backfield.

Jack looks like a ready-made varsity guy. He is already physically built for high level football, and his skill level isn’t lacking at all. His film jumps out quickly as he displays an ability to both run, throw, and throw on the run! He is a strong arm, seems quite efficient and precise with his throws, and does a great job of reading and reacting to what the defense is giving him. I have talked about Jack a few times already, and I definitely am not done! This will be one of my must see kids this offseason and definitely in the fall.

Holden may be the most surefire prospect on this entire list. The Dexter pass catcher has done nothing but impress since bursting onto the scene, and I have enjoyed following along with his process. He’s a quick but physical tight end who has the potential to run any route and be lethal. He can go deep and box out the DB for a jump ball, or he can take a screen to the house. He can block, he can run, and he can catch like a veteran and he’s still working and developing! Be on the lookout for Holden to put everyone on notice soon!
