Here, I wrap up my coverage of the Detroit Public School League. Over the past week, I've covered over 30 prospects from this great league. Today, I'll list my final six new prospects from this league. Next up: The Downriver League!

Deralle earned a lot of playing time last season but didn't thrive in any specific role. He was a swiss army knife of sorts, playing receiver, safety, outside DB, and played a big role in special teams. His highlights as a receiver may show the most upside. The first highlight you'll see below shows good open-field ability, which combines speed, vision, and elusiveness for an explosive play. If he keeps working on his route running and hands, he'll be a full-time Varsity receiver in no time. His play on the defensive side of the ball is a bit more raw, but he shows promise with his athleticism. This is someone who I expect to pop off as a full-time starter next season.

Joshua is a solid lineman who you can put anywhere on the line of scrimmage. Usually lining up at right tackle or guard, he excels in gap blocking and pulling. In general, his run blocking is good enough to get the job done against just about anyone at the high school level. He does a good job at winning at the point of contact and maintaining leverage through his block. Same with his pulls. He can block well on his pull blocks but lacks top-end strength and aggressiveness.

Darryl is someone I should have evaluated a long time ago. He was largely thrown into the fire last season as King's starting quarterback, and he ended up playing extremely well after a rocky week 1. The arm talent and throw power is there. Darryl is able to sling the ball downfield with ease and has a few high-accuracy throws on risky passes- but those risks paid off. He's also able to use his feet to make plays. He already has a few division 1 offers, and I'm looking forward to seeing what he does next season.

Darnez is a raw but productive receiver for East English. His biggest strength is his ability to climb the ladder and earn jump balls. There are a good few highlights showing good ability to box out and make contested catches. Moving forward, Darnez needs to improve his explosiveness, speed, route running, and overall athleticism.

LaMarcus is another good open-field player for East English. As a receiver and running back, he has good open-field vision and speed. His route running is better than most, as he has good release, change of direction, and downfield speed. He's a speed in space player who is utilized a lot in the short game and earns a ton of opportunities to touch the ball. He'll be a great player next season and could get some recruiting attention.

Kirk is a solid two-way player. Offensively, he turned a few of his touches into an explosive play and has good upside as an open-field athlete. Defensively, he tackles well and makes the most of poorly-thrown balls as he's able to recover and get in front of passes. In the future, I'd love to see Kirk's speed, reaction time, and aggressiveness improve.
