Duggins was one of the top performers today and really showed very good movement skills. He ran a good 40 time, showing off his speed and burst. Duggins is a very fluid athlete who shows has a good natural feel for playing man and zone coverage. He has good size at 6-3, and utilizes it well to really blanket wide receivers. He did a good job in the one-on-one coverage drills. He has good hands as well and can make plays on the ball. Duggins is a very good athlete who also plays wide receiver for Mona Shores as well. Duggin’s tape really impressed me as well. He is a physical tackler, a skill he could not display today but he certainly does with pads on.
Drew Esper Drew Esper 6'1" | 190 lbs | ATH Traverse City West | 2026 State MI | Traverse City West | 2026 | Twitter
Esper is a really good athlete who shows very good burst. He did a good job in coverage today, making it tough for receivers to separate from him. Esper has ideal size for the defensive back position and has a strong, lean muscular build. He has good long speed and really displayed that in the 40-yard dash. I liked watching him compete today and he will be a key part to Traverse City West being a strong team in 2024.
Vincent Bitonti | Warren De La Salle | 2027 | Twitter
Bitonti showed off good movement skills in every drill. He is a guy I could tell relished the opportunity to compete today. I get excited to watch De La Salle guys because I know they are very good athletes and they have played in a great program and are always coached up well. Bitonti was strong in the one-on-ones as well and his movement skills allowed him to cover receivers well. Bitonti has very good change of direction also, a skill I always look for in defensive backs. He enters only his sophomore year in 2024 and is going to be a great player for De La Salle for a long time.
David Williams David Williams 6'0" | 170 lbs | DB De La Salle | 2026 State MI | Warren De La Salle | 2026 | Twitter
Williams is a guy who continues to get better each time I watch him. Like the other guys I have talked about, Williams relished the chance to compete today. Every rep against receivers he was doing everything he could to make sure they did not catch the ball on him. Williams has a fluid back pedal and he shows good burst as well. Williams is a good football player who will have a great season at De La Salle this upcoming fall.
Rondre Austion | Oak Park | 2026 | Twitter
Austion is a guy I heard a lot of good things about heading into the camp today. He has good burst and can plant and drive well. His back pedal is fast and he is a fluid athlete who can turn and run with receivers effectively. He was very good in one-on-one drills and was praised for being one of the top overall performers. There is a lot to like about his game and you get a feel he can continue to improve on his already impressive skill set.
