Hurricane TE Rhett McGrew Rhett McGrew 6’3″ | 235 lbs | TE Hurricane | 2025 State WV is currently slated to be the highest-ranked prospect regardless of class to be in attendance at the PRZ WV Combine. The 6’3 235 rising senior is ranked as the #1 TE in the 2025 class and a Top 10 player at this time. McGrew earned his first D1 offer from in-state Marshall back in November and should be in line for some more with strong camp performances over the summer and a solid senior season. The biggest question for him heading into the camp will be how he performs as a pass-catcher and how he tests in the combine drills. We know McGrew is an impressive blocker but his opportunities in the passing game were limited to 17 catches last season, so this will be a great opportunity for him to showcase that side of his game as well which we’re confident he’ll do. Watch for him in the 1-on-1s portion of the camp where he should be able to dominate, and McGrew can solidify himself as the #1 TE in the class with some strong testing numbers.

The second-highest ranked 2025 prospect committed to attending the WV Combine is University’s Ethan Jackson Ethan Jackson 6’0″ | 165 lbs | WR University | 2025 State WV . Jackson is coming off a highly impressive breakout junior season for the Hawks where he eclipsed 1,000 yards receiving and 13 touchdowns as well as a defensive starter at DB. He’ll be in contention for one of the top performers at the combine and is an early favorite to receive MVP honors. Our biggest question for Jackson is which position will he perform better at? He’s also a talented DB and a two-way player for University and will likely see reps at both WR and DB in 1-on-1s. Jackson has the talent and skill to have MVP-worthy performances at both spots and may just be the most impressive performer at both positions at the combine.
Linsly 2025 OL Brock Kuttie Brock Kuttie 6’5″ | 275 lbs | OL Linsly | 2025 State WV has seen his stock skyrocket after a breakout junior season for the Cadets in his first year starting on the varsity squad. Kuttie placed inside of our Top 10 for 2025 offensive linemen where he currently ranks as the 9th-best offensive big man in the class. He’s just on the outside looking at the 2025 Top 50 and a strong camp performance could vault him inside that range. Linemen arguably have the best chance to stand out and impress in camp settings, especially in the testing and 1-on-1 phases. Our question for Kuttie heading into the combine is just how developed is he as a first-year varsity starter? He has the prototypical size you’re looking for and showed some great things on his junior tape, but getting to see him in person will be greatly beneficial for us. Does his feet, physicality, and athleticism show what we saw on film? We think they will and Kuttie should emerge as one of, if not the top linemen in attendance in a group that is deep and talented.

Another talented 2025 offensive lineman who will put his talents on display at the combine is Nitro’s Dom Wise Dom Wise 6’3″ | 305 lbs | OL Nitro | 2025 State WV . Wise just jumped up our 2025 rankings to the Top 70 and the #11 OL in the class after putting together an impressive junior highlight tape. He has the opportunity to cement himself as the top interior offensive lineman at the combine and is a prospect who can perform well on both sides of the line. The question we have for Wise heading into camp is does his feet match his physicality and power? He’s an impressively strong athlete which he displayed last season on the football field and in the weight room, so it will be great to see if he has the athleticism to match it. I anticipate him dominating in 1-on-1s and it will be great to get some testing numbers on him to see how well-rounded of an athlete Wise is.

The second-highest-ranked 2025 WR attending the combine is Hedgesville’s Gavin Young Gavin Young 5’11” | 145 lbs | WR Hedgesville | 2025 State WV . The Eagles’ offense never really got going in 2023 after their starting quarterback was injured in game one which really set them back and limited Young’s opportunities. We’re excited to see if Young can produce and show out more than he was able to last season in an environment geared towards his skillset in a camp setting. The question we have for him that we want answered at the combine is how does he measure up and can he dominate in 1-on-1s like we know he’s capable of? Listed at 5’11 145, Young has plenty of room to continue growing into his body but has the skill and athleticism you’re looking for in a slot receiver. Hedgesville will be looking for a new go-to receiving target in 2024, and Young is in a great position to be that playmaker for them.

The top 2025 RB prospect currently slated to be in attendance at the combine is Robert C. Byrd’s Latrell Jones Latrell Jones 5’10” | 160 lbs | RB Robert C. Byrd | 2025 State WV . The Eagles struggled to break in a youthful team in 2023, so Jones is flying a bit under the radar right now compared to his sophomore season. Our question for him that we’re looking to answer at the combine is has he taken the next step in his development since his sophomore year? We got a small sample size of highlights from his junior season, but a full season highlight tape has yet to be made which makes it trickier to fully evaluate his progress since then. We’re confident he’ll test very well in the combine drills and put up some good numbers, but getting to see him in person for the first time will give us a better idea of how he’s progressed since his sophomore year.
Another Linsly Cadet that we’re excited to see in person is 2025 WR Ramell Derr. Derr just debuted in our 2025 rankings in the spring update as a Top 20 WR, but a strong camp performance could boost him up further after a shortened junior season due to injury. Our question for Derr that we want answered is what will his measurements be and has he fully bounced back from his injury? He’s a dynamic playmaker when healthy and was able to flash that ability in the four games he was able to play. A camp setting is a great environment for him to showcase those traits, especially in the 1-on-1 portion of the combine. If Derr is back to where he was when he was healthy last season, he can earn receiver MVP honors and can see his stock rise further.

The top 2025 QB currently slated to be in attendance at the WV Combine is Clay County’s Noah Collins Noah Collins 6’1″ | 175 lbs | QB Clay County | 2025 State WV . The current #8 2025 QB was extremely productive last season as a junior and was one of the top passers in the state with 3,100 yards passing and 43 touchdowns to just 7 interceptions. The 6’1 175 rising senior also led the Panthers in rushing with 500 yards and 4 more scores and is a versatile overall athlete. Collins took a big jump from his sophomore to junior season in all facets of his game and is an early favorite to potentially receive QB MVP honors. There are three main things that we’ll be looking for from him at the combine: what will his measurements and testing numbers be, have his mechanics continued to progress, and how will he perform without his right-hand man 2024 WR BJ Williams BJ Williams 5’7″ | 160 lbs | WR Clay County | 2024 State WV ? Steady size progression has been a key emphasis for him, and that’s an area he’s progressed in. Collins posts some impressive testing numbers on Twitter/X and getting to confirm those will be very beneficial as well. He also had a great connection with Williams over the years, so it will be great to see if he can have the same results with receivers he’s not familiar with. If Collins can do those three things he’ll be in line for a rankings boost and a rise in his stock.

Moorefield 2025 offensive lineman Brody See Brody See 6’2″ | 280 lbs | OL Moorefield | 2025 State WV recently made his debut in the 2025 rankings as the #23 OL in the class and just inside the Top 150. We believe he’s flying under the radar right now for everyone else which is often the case for small school prospects in general but especially for linemen. The question for them is always the strength of competition they’re facing in the trenches, but See will have a great opportunity to show he can perform at a high level against some fellow talented big men at the combine. The two questions we have for him heading into the combine are what his measurements and testing numbers will be and does his pass-blocking ability match the run-blocking dominance he showed on tape. Listed at 6’2 280, See is right on the line of having the size D2 schools want for linemen, so getting to confirm that will be beneficial for those programs. As mentioned, he was a very good and physical run blocker for the Yellow Jackets who were a run-heavy team last season, so See can prove he’s also capable of being a talented pass blocker too. If he can prove he has the athleticism to match his physicality, See will be thought of even more highly than he already is at PRZ WV.
