Asked to run nines, posts, comebacks and hitches, has a deeper bag in terms of route tree. A young man who can sky for the football, a tall catch radius that extends high above his helmet, good ball tracking skills are displayed when attacking vertically. Body control is prevelent, showcases a late twitch while in the air to maneuver according to the trajecotry of the ball. Body control throughout the entirety of his routes is impressive. Yes he can contort in the air, I like how he controls his limbs in and out of cuts, too. One of the beter comeback/hitch runners I’ve witnessed at this age. Arm-pumping keeps him balanced, incredible flexibility in his knees and hips, kid is a fantastic athlete. An candidate for early MAC offers out West in my opinion.
STANDOUT TRAIT ON TAPE: Pound-for-Pound Power, Run Support Prowess
I’ve already evaluated Brodie Cornell Brodie Cornell 5’8″ | 160 lbs | DB West Allegheny | 2027 State PA ‘s tape. Here’s what I had to say in a previous piece. This was written before we ranked him a top-three DB in his class.rn
220+ scrimmage yards racked up on offense. Almost 90 total tackles on defense, an impressive start to his career at West Allegheny. Often the safety who rotates down into the box, all reps on tape are Varsity reps, always impressive seeing a freshman produce this way in big boy ball. Can flash from his pre-snap alignment to the linebacking unit. Is one of the more fearless tacklers in terms of throwing around his body weight. Not much body weight to be had, yet opposing ballcarriers are going to feel all 160 pounds this kid brings. Is occasionally brought down to the LOS to occupy an OLB alignment, don’t see that often from kids this size. Can set the edge and force outside runs in from this position. Does one hell of a job filling the alley on sweeps, he sees the lane/alley before backs do. His reps on offense are icing on the cake, this kid is a fantastic DB but his role as the secondary back is only going to expand moving forward. I won’t hold back any feelings on the kid’s game because of his size, I’ve learned my lesson with his older brother. Great player.

STANDOUT TRAIT ON TAPE: Highpointing/ 50/50 wins, Stride
The eval below was written a couple of months back. Excited to see him work after the coaching staff elevates his role.rn
Kid is absolutely elevating over JV corners without breaking a sweat. McKeesport has some studs in front of Robinson, so he’s going to have to wait his turn. I think he’s done enough to earn excitement/trust from the coaching staff. Some of the best high-pointing I’ve seen from a freshman in some time, looks like he’s playing 7v7 the way he can leap and attack the football. His radius extends high above his frame, he’s an easy target for the QB to lob balls up to, but his tape shows a bit more than just a 50/50 ball prospect. Robinson has gotten active in the return game, an area where he could better show off his skills with the ball in his hands. Same goes for reps at Wildcat QB. You can see his stride in these scenarios a bit better than watching him sky for jump balls. Served the single-high safety role. This will likely be the most fun he will have ever had in a HS setting, he’s been toying with kids all season. Excited to see him work and develop this offseason.
STANDOUT TRAIT ON TAPE: All-around Athleticism, release
Looked like a man amongst boys at the JV level. Brinkley’s just another North Allegheny stud athlete waiting in the reins behind numerous talented upperclassmen. Brinkley’s first rep on tape showcases his athletic potential. Shows off range from his safety spot, tracks a 35-yard throw and reels it in with one-hand toward the sideline. A tone-setting rep. A tree of a safety that moves well, especially if gets the chance to open up his stride, many bad throws reeled in for interceptions. Can’t help but be excited watching Brinkley work behind center. Kick return reps at this level, as well as zone-read reps, show off what Brinkley might be capable of in terms of athleticism once me makes the move to varsity. I doubt NA will be having this young man return kicks, but it’s a great gauge of the type of athlete the program is working with. A release well beyond his years, replicatable too. Good base, long backward stride gets him away from trash near the LOS. A lot to like, a lot to unpack, sky is the limit moving forward. Brinkley should expect to see a move to “ATH” until we see who starts Week 0.
STANDOUT TRAIT ON TAPE: Pound-for-pound strength, Movement skills
Played freshman ball at 210, now listed at 220. Has a somewhat quick tape on Hudl, under two-and-a-haf minutes long. Apparent first year ever playing football, eventually starting for Mt. Lebanon by the end of the season. Raw power, strength that transcends his body weight. I know 6’5, 210-pound TEs, none of which can generate power like James Halter James Halter 6’5″ | 220 lbs | OL Mt. Lebanon | 2027 State PA . Brutal down-blocker, an easy mover when tasked with pulling from his right tackle position. A to-the-whistle second-level blocker that doubles as a promising DE prospect as well. Reminds me a bit of a more raw Dante Recker Dante Recker 6’6″ | 230 lbs | OL Peters Township | 2024 State PA , a young man who gained good weight throughout the years. Recker also doubles as a DE/OT prospect, James Halter James Halter 6’5″ | 220 lbs | OL Mt. Lebanon | 2027 State PA could see a similar role in the future.
