After breaking down some impressive 2026 quarterbacks, here’s my list of seven 2026 wide receivers in Kentucky that impress on film.
In the first place spot on my list is Trevy Barber Trevy Barber 5’9″ | 155 lbs | WR Bowling Green | 2026 State KY , a wide receiver at Bowling Green High School. What makes Barber so explosive down the stretch is his electric speed off the snap, his ability to create seperation on the run and his ability to elevate off the ground to haul in the deep pass. I also like how Barber can lock in under pressure, proving he can be physical in coverage and stay in front of the ball.

I am additionally impressed with Marlon Harbin Marlon Harbin 5’11” | 170 lbs | WR Saint Xavier | 2026 State KY , a wide receiver at Saint Xavier High School. What stands out about Harbin is his ability to be a reliable passing target in crucial moments, proving his ability to create seperation down the stretch and get wide open for the deep pass. I also like how Harbin can use his arms to wrap up the defense and quickly turn around on the run to haul in the short pass.
Claiming the number three spot on my list is Ronald Lunz Ronald Lunz 5’10” | 170 lbs | WR North Hardin | 2026 State KY , a wide receiver at North Hardin High School. What makes Lunz so impactful is his ability to quickly haul in the short pass and blast into enemy territory from along the edge, showcasing his quick execution and strong catching. I also like how Lunz can haul in touchdown passes, using his size and versatile edge to elevate off the ground for the catch.

Another skilled prospect to keep an eye on is Eli Pietrowski Eli Pietrowski 6’4″ | 210 lbs | TE Corbin | 2026 State KY , a wide receiver at Corbin High School. In addition to great footwork, what I like about Pietrowski is his ability to outrun the defense down the stretch and get in prime position for the deep pass. Pietrowski also impresses with his ability to be versatile in coverage, using his size and wingspan to elevate off the ground to haul in the deep pass.
Coming in at number five on my list is Dylan Lee Dylan Lee 6’1″ | 165 lbs | WR Ryle | 2026 State KY , a wide receiver at Ryle High School. Lee stands out due to his footwork and explosive speed, showcasing his ability to outrun the defense from along the edge, get wide open for the deep pass and take it all the way to the house. Lee also impresses me with his quick execution and ability to get open for the short pass.

Also worth mentioning is Luke Tompkins Luke Tompkins 5’11” | 175 lbs | WR North Oldham | 2026 State KY , a wide receiver at North Oldham High School. Tompkins stands out with his ability to get wide open in the backfield, using his breakaway speed and physical edge to overpower his opponent in coverage and create solid seperation in the endzone. I also like how Tompkins can beat defenders to the ball, using his wingspan to haul in challenging passes.
