He is especially good at reading the defense and making all the right throws inside the pocket. He throws an excellent deep ball in which he puts a good touch on the ball. Tavares shows good mobility and makes plays with his feet. He is especially good at throwing the ball on the run. Tavares is a talented player who should only improve going into his 2nd season as a starter.

Justin Still
Justin Still is a rangy athlete who played all over the field for Newport last year. He played as an outside linebacker and a safety last year. As an outside linebacker, he shows good coverage in the flat. He also shows a good ability in run support by coming up to make tackles in the open field. As a safety, he shows good coverage skills to play the deep ball thrown his way. On offense, he plays as a tight end and as a wide receiver. He shows good ability to catch the ball and run good routes. Still has a ton of skill to play on both sides of the ball.
Peter Sherman Peter Sherman 6’1″ | 180 lbs | QB Emmaus | 2026 State PA played quarterback for Emmaus last year. He shows good skills as a quarterback. Sherman has excellent footwork in the pocket and moves well to avoid the pressure. He shows solid mechanics with his throwing motion. He does a good job of reading the defense and then throwing the ball to the open receivers. He is excellent at throwing the ball to receivers on in-breaking routes. Sherman also shows good athleticism by scrambling around to make plays with his feet. Sherman is a talented quarterback in the 2026 class.

Carlos Diggs Carlos Diggs 5’8″ | DB Gateway | 2026 State PA played cornerback last year for Gateway. He shows good coverage skills. He is good in both man-to-man coverage and zone. In both types of defenses, he shows good skills. He is particularly good at reading the quarterback and the wide receiver and then making a play on the ball. When the ball is thrown his way, he does a good job anticipating the ball to break up the pass or create an interception. Diggs is a talented defensive back that has all the tools to play at an even higher level.
TJ Mitchell
TJ Mitchell
TJ Mitchell played linebacker and running back for Gateway last year. At both positions, he shows good athleticism. At linebacker, he does a good job of reading his keys and then triggering downhill. He does a good job making plays at or near the line of scrimmage. Mitchell runs sideline-to-sideline making plays all over the field. As a running back he runs with a physical style. He also shows a good burst and explodes through the hole. He is very difficult to bring down by one tackler. Mitchell is an excellent prospect on both sides of the ball.
Ray Miller
Ray Miller
Ray Miller played for Seton LaSalle Last year, but it appears that he has since transferred to Aliquippa. Miller is a good athlete that moves well. He played cornerback and quarterback for Seton Lasalle last year. At both positions, he shows good athleticism to play either position. At cornerback, he shows good coverage skills. At quarterback, he shows that he is a dual-threat QB who can make people miss in space when he runs with the ball. He also shows a solid arm. Miller should only improve on both sides of the ball next season.
