Utu remains Nevada’s top overall prospect in the 2025 class with the rare physical tools and skillset he offers on the offensive line. At 6’5”/300, Utu possesses the length to dominate the edge in pass protection and provides elite athleticism and mobility as a run blocker. He operates off a strong, balanced base, uses his fast, violent hands effectively to control defenders, and finishes with powerful leg drive through the whistle. He holds potential to develop into an elite OT starter at the next level with his combination of size, technique, and flexibility. Utu’s one of the most coveted OT prospects in the country with over 20 D-I offers to his name.
Alofaitul held firm as the #2-overall prospect in PRZ Nevada’s 2025 class. The 6’3”/295 OG is one of the top IOL in the country with an elite combination of strength, physicality, technique, and athleticism. He’s extremely powerful at the POA, is equally effective as both a run/pass blocker, and possesses rare ability to pick up blocks in space for his age and size. Alofaituli has some of the nation’s best programs near the top of his list including Miami, Alabama, Michigan, and Oregon.
Meadows has been one of the country’s biggest stock risers at the WR position after strong performances at recent national events helped him generate 15+ offers over the past few months. He’s an elite physical talent at 6’6”/195 with the natural length, body control, and WR skillset to develop into a dominant perimeter threat at the next level. He uses his body to box-out defenders in tight coverage, shows field awareness working the sidelines as a scramble target, and is a physical, committed blocker on the outside. Meadows has several SEC visits lined up including Alabama at the end of the month and an official visit with Notre Dame, who’s stayed heavily involved in the star WR since offering last summer.
Kalaniuvalu established himself as one of the top OL prospects in the state after transferring from Provo, Utah to Bishop Gorman. He’s a powerful blocker in the run game that beats defenders to the spot with explosive twitch off the ball, moves extremely well up to the second level as a lead blocker, and can play either OT or OG spot. He’s a quick, efficient mover with a strong, athletic frame at 6’4”/300. Kalanuivalu offers some of the highest run-blocking upside of any OL recruit in the country. The state’s #3-ranked prospect has added offers from Colorado and Michigan St. since the start of 2024.
Thatcher- the state’s top-ranked defender- is as violent a defender as you’ll see at the high school level. He’s a high-volume tackler from his ILB spot (13 tackles/game) that anticipates play development with excellent instincts, explodes downhill to the ball, and fills between the OTs with ill intent. He’s a rangy, fluid mover that shows good speed to the sideline but is at his best when playing north-south. He shows quick, twitchy reactions in coverage and puts himself in the right spot to make a play on the ball. Thatcher’s recruitment should continue to heat up with several visits planned over the coming months.
