The Prep Redzone 7v7 circuit made it’s way through Tennessee this weekend as the second annual Music City Mayhem tourney took place in Murfreesboro. We had a great weekend of football and saw so many players at all levels making plays both days. Congratulations to our champions of the tournament! 502 7v7 out of Kentucky had a perfect weekend, capped off with the 18U championship. Slaughter House Elite is taking the 15U and 14U championships back to South Carolina. Legacy U won a defensive battle to take the 12U championship back to Ohio and NPA Green got the day started by winning the 10U championship.
We will have a ton of content over the next few days breaking down the action from the tournament. From player breakdowns in all divisions to photos and video highlights, Prep Redzone is committed to being America’s Most Covered 7v7 Circuit. The coverage before, during and now after the Music City Mayhem is unmatched! Keep it locked in to Prep Redzone for more players breakdowns and follow our social channels for photos and video highlights! For now, we’re putting that spotlight on West Michigan Drive as they made the trip down from the Grand Rapids area to become one of the better 18U teams in attendance. Here’s a breakdown on four of their top standouts!
We kick off the breakdown with 2025 wide receiver Carson Dykstra Carson Dykstra 5’11” | 165 lbs | WR Hudsonville | 2025 State MI and he had a weekend that was impressive from start to finish. Now, we didn’t get a chance to catch every single game that they played between Saturday and Sunday. But from what we did catch in person and what we’ve seen in terms of highlights and talking with other staff, Dykstra was one of the more consistent wide receivers for this squad in Tennessee. One thing that stood out to us when seeing some of the clips from Dykstra is just how often he slips behind a defense and then you find him all alone in the back of the end zone with another touchdown. There’s a high on-field IQ with him.
Highlights
When it comes to this 18U squad, 2025 standout Isaac Lee Isaac Lee 6’1″ | 175 lbs | WR Byron Center | 2025 State MI was the very first player that stood out to us after watching them in person for two of their pool play games on Saturday. In the first game, Lee made some big plays and quickly became one of the better players on the field. But then in the second game, they faced a really strong YOG Select team in a physical and chippy game and would get the win. During that game, Lee made what could have been the catch of the weekend as he leapt up, snagged the ball with one hand out of the air and came down with it. That set the tone for them to get the win and they would finish the day on Saturday at 3-0. Lee was a terrific athlete to watch.

Another standout during the pool play games on Saturday was Landen Conrad at the wide receiver position. Conrad is a 2025 prospect to keep an eye on as we move forward towards the spring and summer months because while he was somewhat of an unknown coming into this weekend’s tournament, that should change moving forward. Conrad was a really athletic wide receiver that made some big time catches while we caught them in action on Saturday. He has very strong hands and used his leaping ability to climb the ladder and go snag a ball out of the air. He turned some passes that looked like would be incomplete into big plays for their offense.
We had some outstanding quarterbacks in attendance this weekend but that’s what you get when you have a tournament with nearly 90 teams and from over ten different states. But 2025 quarterback Landon Tungate Landon Tungate 5’11” | 180 lbs | ATH Byron Center | 2025 State MI was right there near the top in terms of arm strength. I’ve had the benefit of seeing Tungate in person as well as checking out some clips from different games that I didn’t catch. The junior signal caller has an absolute rocket launcher on his shoulder. The arm strength is through the roof and he puts the ball on a dot every single time. On Saturday in particular, quarterbacks were dealing with a steady wind and it didn’t matter. Tungate’s passes cut through the wind with ease.
