The Prep Redzone 7v7 circuit made it’s way through Tennessee this weekend as the second annual Music City Mayhem tourney took place in Murfreesboro. We had a great weekend of football and saw so many players at all levels making plays both days. Congratulations to our champions of the tournament! 502 7v7 out of Kentucky had a perfect weekend, capped off with the 18U championship. Slaughter House Elite is taking the 15U and 14U championships back to South Carolina. Legacy U won a defensive battle to take the 12U championship back to Ohio and NPA Green got the day started by winning the 10U championship.
We will have a ton of content over the next few days breaking down the action from the tournament. From player breakdowns in all divisions to photos and video highlights, Prep Redzone is committed to being America’s Most Covered 7v7 Circuit. The coverage before, during and now after the Music City Mayhem is unmatched! Keep it locked in to Prep Redzone for more players breakdowns and follow our social channels for photos and video highlights! For now, we’re putting that spotlight on the C4 Sixers squad made up of southern Oklahoma and northern Texas 2026 standouts.
Lawton MacArthur 2026 standout Adam Auston Adam Auston 6’2″ | 200 lbs | DB Lawton MacArthur | 2026 State OK was one of our players we spotlighted before the tournament began. Auston was listed as a DB to watch during the Music City Mayhem tourney. Auston is a standout safety in Oklahoma but this weekend, we got our first chance to see him working at linebacker. Auston is continuing to impress us every time we see him either on film or in person at these tournaments. And another thing that makes this move interesting is his development physically. Auston continues to look bigger every time we see him in person and maybe a linebacker or linebacker/safety hybrid spot is in his future. Regardless of what position he’s playing, he always finds a way to stand out.
Highlights
Durant 2026 defensive star Colton Yarbrough Colton Yarbrough 6’5″ | 210 lbs | DL Durant | 2026 State OK might be at the top of the list when it comes to prospects in attendance this weekend. Yarbrough has offers from just about every major player in college football at this point and it doesn’t take long to look at him in person and see why. Yarbrough is rated as one of the top defensive lineman prospects not just in Oklahoma’s 2026 class but in the country. While playing with C4, we’ve seen the Durant star playing more of a linebacker role but recently, he’s playing more offense and using his 6’5 frame to make some big catches down the field. Last week, Yarbrough earned more national rankings as he was clearly one of the top 2026 prospects in the tourney field.
Leonard 2026 quarterback Jacoby Lacook Jacoby Lacook 5’11” | 180 lbs | QB Leonard | 2026 TX has been a player that we’ve seen a handful of times this offseason while he’s played for C4. This weekend, we got a great chance to really watch him run the offense and he really impressed. Lacook is a quarterback prospect that we weren’t as familiar with heading into this offseason but after watching him in several tournaments, including this weekend, and seeing the production he had last fall, he’s certainly going to be a name to know in Texas moving forward. This weekend, Lacook did a good job of delivering the ball all over the field. Now, when you look at all the talent Lacook had around him, it’s easy to see why he would have a successful weekend.
Highlights
Competing in the Prep Redzone 7v7 circuit has been beneficial for some of C4’s prospects over the last 13 months. This year, that breakout player is 2026 athlete Mason Williams Mason Williams 6’4″ | 175 lbs | ATH Daingerfield | 2026 TX out of Daingerfield, Texas. Williams was somewhat of an unknown coming into the weekend but that’s not the case anymore. Williams absolutely dominated during pool play on Saturday evening. We watched him making plays at wide receiver and on defense as a defensive back. He was one of our top performers and it didn’t take long for others to notice. Williams earned his first offer on Sunday from Miami and that’s just the start for this rangy standout from Texas. You dominate on a big stage and get noticed.
This is the second Prep Redzone tournament that C4 has played in this year and for the second straight tourney, Honey Grove 2026 running back Ryelan Morris Ryelan Morris 5’10” | 170 lbs | RB Honey Grove | 2026 State TX was one of the top performers that we watched. Morris is quickly rising up the charts in terms of ’26 running backs in Texas and the offer list is also growing at a rapid pace. This weekend, Morris did what we saw him do in Oklahoma earlier this month. Out run everyone. When Morris gets the ball in his hands, he is absolutely electric with it. He was one of the fastest players at our Oklahoma tournament and that was the case again this weekend in Tennessee. He’s a fun player to watch and his arrow is pointing up in a major way moving forward.
