So, I am going to break up my series of Top linemen into 3 sections. Today, I finish my series of Top Linemen in Western New York for the Class of 2025. These are players unranked through Prep RedZone that should get several collegiate looks in their senior season.
George Wiley V
George Wiley V
A 2023 transfer student – George Wiley V, in his first year at Canisius, proved to be a physical 2 way player. As an Offensive Guard, he is quick and an excellent puller. He possesses great strength to drive block and can bully his opposition with ease. On defense, he can play Defensive Tackle in a 4-3 or Nose in a 3-4. Wiley has an aggressive style of play where he can completely engulf his opponent.
In his 1st year playing varsity football, Warrick Kyler Warrick Kyler 6’5″ | 280 lbs | OL Salamanca | 2025 NY made 1st team All Western New York and 1st team All State after an exceptional Junior season. Kyler is a fantastic pass protector with great footwork and a superb kick step. He is extremely mobile as an offensive tackle and plays with a mean streak. Going into his Senior season at 6’6 285 lbs., Warrick Kyler Warrick Kyler 6’5″ | 280 lbs | OL Salamanca | 2025 NY is a name college scouts will need to know.
Another 2023 transfer, Defensive End, Laferald Hines Jr Laferald Hines Jr 6’3″ | 235 lbs | DL Lackawanna | 2025 NY somehow flew under the radar terrorizing Offensive Lines with 61 tackles (6 for loss) and 11 Quarterback sacks. He has a great bullrush and can play the run as well as he rushes the passer. His read and react time is excellent. He can also play out of a three point stance or attack like an Outside Linebacker. Hines is an intriguing 2024 prospect.

Weighing in at over 300 lbs., Gabe Kelichner is an athletic lineman that can play both size of the ball with tremendous ability. He has great footwork and his awareness is excellent. As an Offensive Lineman, he plays with a lot of power, manhandling defenders. But it was at Defensive Tackle where his aggression and athletic abilities earned him All Catholic honors in 2022 and 2023.
Alex Barmore Alex Barmore 6’2″ | 170 lbs | DL Clymer/Sherman/Panama | 2025 NY is an overall fantastic athlete. In two season, Barmore’s explosiveness off the ball and speed to chase down ballcarriers has brought about 85 tackles (21 for loss) and 9 sacks. But in 2023, his dynamic abilities earned him All State honors as a Tight End. Alex is fast and uses his hands very well. He will be a great asset at the collegiate level but listed under 200 lbs., he would have to put on some muscle to play Defensive End. Alex Barmore Alex Barmore 6’2″ | 170 lbs | DL Clymer/Sherman/Panama | 2025 NY ‘s athleticism could make him viable at other positions.
