The Oak Hills prospect checks into our rankings as a top 70 player in his class within California, and sneaks in inside the top ten at his position. Felila is extremely violent and physical for his age, and a true inside plug that can just eat up blocks and double teams without losing ground, and can also provide a relentless pass rush from the inside. He is very strong at the POA, wins with leverage and pad level with a solid base and powerful first step to create vertical pushback across the LOS. He is a high motor kid that can chase down ball carriers backside or downfield if needed, and also shows impressive block recognition for his age. Look for Felila to be one of the top defensive lineman in his class for the next few years and gather college offers/interest as he progresses through his prep career.
Galloway was one of the top players on his team in 2023, which made an appearance in a CIF State Title game in December. He checks just inside the top 60 overall in our initial rankings, and inside the top ten at his position in this 2027 class. On tape, he shows he can get off the ball with long strides and covers a ton of ground into the backfield, while a rangy edge player with elite pass rush abilities due to relentless pursuit and a quick use of hands/bend off the edge. He is a very well built prospect with a strong lower body already, and wins with leverage and initial punch at the POA in the run game while able to easily beat bigger offensive tackles off the ball. Also able to play tight end, he is a two-way star for one of the better teams in the Southern Section, and is a no brainer FBS caliber prospect by the time his prep career comes to a close.
Vaetoe is quickly becoming one of the top prospects across the Bay Area in this very talented Freshman class, and is coming off a tremendous first prep season for the North Bay School. Starting multiple games for one of the better teams in the North Coast Section, he has a unique combination of size, speed and twitch at the defensive tackle spot and is a very well put together kid for his age. He has a explosive first step, quick use of hands at the POA while showing a strong shock and quick lockout, and is a very high motor kid that flies around and makes plays outside the tackles/downfield when needed. A muti-sack and tackle for loss kid as a Freshman, he is a still developing prospect with tons of untapped potential, he should start drawing college interest in the near future.
