Wesley is one of the top defensive lineman in the entire country in this 2027 class, and was impressive at multiple events even last season, before his prep career even started and checks in as our number two overall prospect within this class in California. He is a explosive and violent pass rusher with great first step explosion, violent hands and a natural bender around the edge that can redirect to the ball and already has a variety of pass rush moves at his disposal which is impressive for only a freshman. Already at this point in his career, he holds offers from Georgia, Cal, USC and Washington and should be a 25+ power five offer kid by the time his career at Sierra Canyon comes to an end.
Harmon checks into our rankings as the number two defensive lineman is this loaded 2027 class up front, and is a stout defensive tackle with good twitch, violent hands and tons of power coming from the inside. He has an elite first step off, creates immediate knock-back with inside hands and lockout, while able to take on double teams and shows quick block recognition in the inside when defeating drives, reaches and scoops. As good as he is against the run, he has fluid hips in pass rush situations with active hands and seems to always have a pass rush plan pre-snap. Harmon already has offers from Florida, ASU, Cal and Washington State and will be another 20 + offer guy by the time his prep career is over.
Highlights
Williams checks into our 2027 rankings as the number three defensive lineman across California, and is one of the top athletes overall in his class. On tape, he shows he is a true inside plug with heavy hands and can eat up blocks in the interior while having quick feet and good speed in the box when closing and getting into the backfield in a hurry. He moves very well for his size, and will only continue to grow and develop through his final three years at Tustin. Look for Williams to be one of the better players regardless of class or position across the region over the next few years, and was a no brainer to be near the top of our initial ’27 ranks.
The Lincoln (San Diego) standout is quickly developing into one of the best true edge players across California, and had a very productive freshman campaign for the Hornets and has established himself as one of the top players across the San Diego Section, as only a Freshmen. He currently already holds offers from Washington State and Colorado State, and will be closing in on another FBS offer sooner rather than later. He is a very athletic prospect with elite closing speed, COD abilities and bends well off the edge while able to get underneath tackle punches while also shows violent hands and can transition from speed to power in a hurry off the edge. He offers tremendous position versatility along the front and second level, and will be one of the more exciting players to watch across the region in 2024.
