The Oregon commit moves up 11 spots to #9 overall. 6’3” 245 lbs., he brings a great combination of size, strength, and athleticism that allows him to impact the game in multiple ways. As a run defender, he shows excellent gap discipline, using his natural power and strong hands to shed blockers and maintain leverage. He’s tough to move off his spot and can squeeze down run lanes effectively while maintaining separation with good arm extension. Great in pursuit, he can redirect and chase with good bend and short area acceleration. As a pass rusher, he fires off the ball with speed and has the ability to collapse the pocket quickly. Like his lateral quickness to and variation of moves to beat blockers and get to the QB. Has continued to rise up the PRZ rankings throughout his HS career.

Tavizon is a high caliber edge prospect out of Lincoln. At 6’3” 245 lbs. he’s an attacking defender off the edge that can impact the game as a run stopper and pass rusher. A plus athlete with natural strength and power in his frame. Can run through blockers while holding a gap to squeeze a run play. Like his ability to shed and disengage from blocks with strong and active hands. Maintains separation with good extension. Rushes hard off the edge in passing situations, can quickly collapse the pocket and redirect in the short area to make plays behind the LOS before they develop. Flashes good lateral agility and closing speed to chase the ball carrier in pursuit. Brings heavy contact as a tackler and is tough to break once he gets his hands on the ball carrier. Holds 17 D1 offers to date with 11 of them being P4 programs. Moved up 14 spots to #20 overall in the 2027 class.
17 Offers: USC, Texas A&M, Stanford, Arizona State, Boise State, Cal, Colorado State, Miami, Michigan State, Minnesota, Sacramento State, Oregon, Oregon State, San Diego State, San Jose State, UNLV, Washington State

Tavizon rose to #34-overall and the #5-DL in PRZ CA’s latest update to the 2027 rankings after a busy offseason that included picking up his first eight D-I offers. He’s a disruptive defender from his DE spot with major upside in his physical skillset and projectable frame at 6’3″/230. He possesses the strength to set the edge, shows good lateral range, and is extremely violent at the POA. Tavizon looks primed for a breakout sophomore campaign and should be a national recruit in the near future.
