Felila is one of the best true noses across the state, and is very strong at the POA with violent hands and a quick lockout. He is excellent against the run and tough to move from the inside. He shows the ability to quickly get off the ball and win with power rush moves and create interior pressure. Another defensive linemen that adds interior length, he should be a 15+ offer guy by the time it’s all said and done. BYU, Oregon, Notre Dame, and UCLA have already offered heading into his Junior season and he has impressed at multiple stops already.

Felila is one of the top interior rushers across California in the 2027 class and is coming off a tremendous sophomore season campaign for Oak Hills and holds P4 offers already. He had a solid showing in the morning session and is a powerful interior rusher with heavy hands, a good initial strike and can create immediate knock-back. He shows twitch out of his stance and countermove abilities and is very technically sound, especially against the run. Very strong at the point of attack and moving well for his size, Felila should have a big Junior season and gather plenty of other FBS offers.

Felila was named MVP and had the torn up shirt to prove why he was deserving. He was getting his hands on offensive linemen and blowing them up off the ball without bull-rushing like you see often at camps. Felila was able to get the offensive lineman’s hips turned and get to the quarterback. He won nearly all of his 1-on-1 reps.

Felila is one of the top defensive lineman on the west coast in the 2027 class in his exceptional athlete with good twitch, use of hands is very fluid and open space for size. He dominated the camp circuit last spring and he continues to do the same so far this winter and spring against top-tier competition. He holds his weight well, and adds interior length while a high level P4 caliber prospect. Already very technically sound heading into his Junior season for Oak Hills, Felila is well on his way to becoming a national recruit and holds offers from CAL, Notre Dame, BYU, UCLA and Utah. He will no doubt be a 20+ offer guy by the time his recruitment is all said and done.

Checks the boxes in terms of size, frame, and physical ability at 6’3” 290 lbs. He’s an aggressive defender that is violent with his hands and a heavy tackler. Strength at the POA gives him a great anchor to take on a blocker and hold a gap or fight through contact on his way to the ball carrier. Pressures the passer by collapsing the pocket from the interior. Plus athleticism and movement skills, he flashes good twitch and initial quickness on the snap and can chase the ball carrier laterally or downfield. Worked his way up 14 spots in the overall rankings and has plenty of room for growth. Strong offseason performing well at camps/showcases while collecting four D1 offers.
4 Offers: Utah, BYU, Cal, Arizona State

The Oak Hills prospect checks into our rankings as a top 70 player in his class within California, and sneaks in inside the top ten at his position. Felila is extremely violent and physical for his age, and a true inside plug that can just eat up blocks and double teams without losing ground, and can also provide a relentless pass rush from the inside. He is very strong at the POA, wins with leverage and pad level with a solid base and powerful first step to create vertical pushback across the LOS. He is a high motor kid that can chase down ball carriers backside or downfield if needed, and also shows impressive block recognition for his age. Look for Felila to be one of the top defensive lineman in his class for the next few years and gather college offers/interest as he progresses through his prep career.

– While the bulk of prospects at the camp were from Utah, Felila made the trip from California and the big 2027 prospect did not disappoint in the slightest
– Already possesses next-level size at 6-foot-3 and 290 pounds, which allowed him to have his way on the interior defensive line all day long
– Not just a space-eater, he showed very good quickness off the ball for a prospect his size. Used a powerful base and strength to anchor himself and become a two-gap defensive tackle
– Had one of those big, magnetic personalities that teammates loved playing around and made success that much sweeter
