He thrives as a true dual threat QB who is really dangerous in the read option game, along with play action. He shows a strong arm that can get the ball over top of the defense, and also displays a nice touch on some of the short and intermediate throws that require a bit more finesse. He keeps his eyes downfield when scrambling and can find and hit open targets when he gets flushed out of the pocket. Be on the lookout as this could be another elite QB coming up.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["1157439"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"Duke is much more of a prototypical pocket passer, but he is extremely efficient. He stands in even under some pressure, keeps his eyes downfield, doesn't tend to drift back, and can step into his throws. His arm strength will have to continue to evolve, but for a Freshman he really shows a lot of promise. I trust the DCC staff to develop him just as they have done for the longest time in the past! I'm excited to see how he can evolve his game to fit the system.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["1157442"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"Jack actually really surprised me when I watched his film. He jumps off the screen immediately when he showed off some impressive wheels, and then a nice pass that he dropped in a bucket over the receivers shoulder. I don't think of a D7 school as a passing offense, but Schoolcraft could do just that with him as he can wheel and deal. His throwing motion looks natural and he seems to have good strength and isn't laboring to get the ball downfield. His decisions are quick and confident which should bode well for him the next few years!","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["1028165"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"Landon appears to be really technical. He has a natural throwing motion and good footwork, has the measurables and arm strength to be a physically imposing player so far. It will be interesting to see how it translates this season. He has no fear stepping into a throw even with a pass rusher coming up the middle which is a huge plus already. With continuous work, I would not be shocked to see him surprise plenty of folks.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["572246"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"I may be higher on this kid than most people. He shows a lot on film that gives me confidence that he could be a surprise for people. He definitely doesn't play like a Freshman, as his arm and legs both are well above average for his class. He is able to fire it in there on bullet passes, including throwing across his body sometimes. He doesn't choose to run first, but he can get out of the pocket when it breaks down and go for some big yardage. His decisions are quick and he doesn't think twice. He has quickly climbed my list of guys that I really want to see sooner rather than later.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-65bc1f6e8a6d6"} /-->
