The progression in Hall’s game was fun to watch as the season went on, he really transformed himself on the field. For example early in the year you could tell he was inexperienced, maybe a bit rattled, but by Week 10 he was one of the best quarterbacks in the county. Hall really came on strong for the Colgan Sharks and he is poised to lead them back to the playoffs in 2024. His accuracy and deep ball are nothing to be frowned upon, I expect him to take on more of a leadership role for Coach Scott this upcoming year.
I am probably late to the party on this young man, but he really is special under center for the Potomac School. Rising senior

is a dual threat quarterback who threw for 19 touchdowns and only 5 interceptions, the young man sees the field very well. While he has the ability to scramble and throw on the run, he does a great job of staying in the pocket and willing to take a hit. Reminds me of a young Jalen Hurts especially the leg strength he displays on a number of broken plays. Check out his tape below the young man is an FBS level talent.

Highlights
Lake Braddock should be a state title contender next year and Michael Suris Michael Suris 6’0″ | 185 lbs | QB Lake Braddock | 2025 State VA will be the one leading them there. Make no mistake while he has weapons all around him Suris can sling it with the best of them in the county and had an excellent junior season. Another dual threat quarterback who loves to stick his shoulder pads into any defender trying to take him down, this kid is tough as nails.

The Yates family is full of stars and rising senior Cael Yates Cael Yates 5’9″ | 160 lbs | QB James Madison | 2025 State VA was certainly no exception, leading the Warhawks to the state semi-finals. If you read my weekly game balls, you know I have been a fan of his game for quite some time:
While not winning their district this regular season the Warhawks title aspirations are far from over and Cael Yates Cael Yates 5’9″ | 160 lbs | QB James Madison | 2025 State VA and company proved that last week. The younger brother of standout 2024 wideout Cord Yates , Cael had a great outing in Madison dominating win over Langley. Accounting for three touchdown passes Yates is not to be overlooked on a loaded roster with division 1 prospects all around. He will have his hands full this week facing Mclean but just as his squad has done all year, expect him and the Warhawks to take the adversity on with flying colors.rn
Cael will be looked upon for his leadership next fall with Madison graduating several key seniors. Between him and running back Dominic Knicely Dominic Knicely 5’9″ | 185 lbs | ATH James Madison | 2025 State VA I do not expect the Warhawks offense to miss a beat.
Stepping in as a true freshman Hill nearly lead the Vikings to the district playoffs in his first season under center. The young man is very raw but you can see the potential on every throw he makes on the run, the kid has it all. He is 6’2 already and can see the field like he is a veteran of the game, cannot wait to see how he progresses for Woodbridge over the next few seasons. Selected as second team all district this past fall, Hill threw for 16 touchdowns and made some big time decisions down the stretch in the Vikings victory over Gar-Field. The talent and potential for this young man is there, how he develops during the off-season will be key.
