The top two teams in Class 3A all season have been Heritage Hall and Lincoln Christian. They squared off for the Class 3A gold ball on Saturday night and it was the #2 Bulldogs getting the 48-28 victory over top-ranked and defending champion Heritage Hall. Lincoln Christian fell down 28-7 halfway through the second quarter but it was all Lincoln after that. The entire momentum of the game changed for good early on in the third quarter when Heritage Hall superstar [player_tooltip player_id='207182' first='Andy' last='Bass'] went down with an apparent knee injury. He did not return. At that point, he accounted for 300 yards of total offense and all four touchdowns.
