The combination of talent, competition, and coaching was off the charts. The event was a great representation of the deep roster of college talent that WI has to offer. From freshmen ready to make a name for themselves to seniors who are going to become huge steals for a lucky program. One of the things we do at our Showcases is crown an MVP in every position group. Today, we take a deep dive into how each of those athletes brought home the honor. These are need to know prospects going forward.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["364056"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"Franklin's Joey Kallay has been putting together an impressive resume. He has been a standout at previous Prep Redzone WI Showcases, led his team to the State Championship Game in 2023, and now has earned the MVP of the QB position at the PRZ WI Showcase. One thing is very clear when it comes to Kallay. The kid is willing to put in the work. He gets better and better every time I get to see him. The 6' 185 lbs junior QB is a technician at the position. Everything works together in unison from his feet up to his eyes. During the positional drills Joey was always at the front of the line, and delivered what the coach was looking for. We got to see Kallay deliver accurate passes on the run, off platform, from awkward arm angles, and in rhythm. The ball always came out with, with a tight spiral, and with plenty of velocity to attack every level of the field. His refined mechanics allowed him to get a lot behind the ball when he needed to. I'm very excited for this next year of Kallay's recruitment. He was impressive to watch.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-656e710bbd54b"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_0_player_details_player_name":"Dante Matta","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_0_player_details_graduating_class":"2026","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_0_player_details_height":"5'7u0022","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_0_player_details_position":"2408","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_0_player_details_school":"De Pere","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_0_player_details_club_team":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_0_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"Sophomore Dante Matta out of De Pere came down to Oak Creek and stood out among a big crop of RBs from across WI. The sophomore has developed an explosive skill set that was able to really shine on this stage. Matta did well in the testing portion of the day, and it hinted toward the burst you look for in a back that you want to get out in space. In the positional drills and the one on one battles vs LBs, Matta put on a show. He has quick feet, the lateral agility to make defenders miss in space, and can get up field quickly when he sticks his foot in the ground. That body control and burst stood out while Dante was running routes against LBs too. He was able to open up plenty of separation, and showed off reliable hands. Keep an eye on the matchup problem.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-656e710bbd604"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_0_player_details_player_name":"Mark Dilosa","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_0_player_details_graduating_class":"2024","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_0_player_details_height":"5'9u0022","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_0_player_details_position":"2410","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_0_player_details_school":"Merrillville","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_0_player_details_club_team":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_0_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"Senior Mark Dilosa made the trip over from Indiana, and he made the trip worth it. The senior actually stood out at WR and DB, but WR was where he looked most natural and where he won MVP.  No question, Mark has next level athleticism. He jumped out of the gym with a 9'8u0022 and 9'11u0022 broad jump. The senior also blew us away with a 4.68 50 yard dash. Those traits carried over to the drill work and one on one battles. Mark shined as a route runner. His balance, hips and feet allowed him to cut on a dime, burst out of breaks, and once the ball was in the air he was able to adjust to it and chase it down. The senior showed a large catch radius for an athlete who checks in at 5'9u0022 too. He had a lot of interest following the camp. Coaches, give this kid a look. He was a matchup nightmare.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-656e710bbd696"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["685841"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"I have been a fan of Emmett for a couple years now, and the potential to be a high end TE prospect were always there. We are seeing him reach that potential now, and it is fun to watch live. Bork is a massive athlete, checking in at 6'6u0022 and an impressive 225 lbs. The big target carries it very well too. Even as he has filled out the junior hasn't lost a bit of athleticism. He put up back to back 9'10u0022 broad jumps. It was in the drill work where it was even more clear that Emmett is quickly turning into a special prospect. He is essentially a massive WR in the passing game. The feet are quick, his hips quickly flip, he can change pad level through his breaks, and is able to get deep quick with his long strides. On top of it all, Bork provides a huge catch radius. He has soft hands and can go up and get it at the high point over DBs, catch it away from his body so DBs can't punch it out, and uses his body to box out. Emmett is a D1 talent at the TE position.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-656e710bbd6f2"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["526514"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"Teams recruiting WI and looking for IOL help need to get to Waterford HS. Robby has been consistently getting better and better, and what he showed Sunday was very impressive. Robby looks the part at 6'2u0022 280 lbs, and more importantly, plays the part of a high level OG. The junior was a technician that stood out from the crowd during positional drills. The big man is able to comfortably play with a wide base, and low pad level while staying square and balanced over his feet. His knee and ankle flexibility allowed him to win the leverage battle in one on ones, and his anchor was very strong, standing up IDL all day long. Robby showed that he has the lateral agility needed to mirror pass rushers that don't just try to bull rush also. His hand use jump out too, consistently staying tight inside on the chest of his man. It was a great day for the OG. The arrow is pointing up for him.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-656e710bbd74a"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_0_player_details_player_name":"[player_tooltip player_id='1107028' first='Alex' last='Baehr']","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_0_player_details_graduating_class":"2025","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_0_player_details_height":"6'3u0022","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_0_player_details_position":"2406","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_0_player_details_school":"Lakeside Lutheran","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_0_player_details_club_team":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_0_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"Alex was a new name on my radar coming into the event, but you can bet I will be following him closely after his performance. So should college coaches. Alex has an intriguing, long frame at 6'3u0022 215 lbs. No question, he has room to carry plenty more weight and strength. During the Showcase, the junior repeatedly stood out in the one on one battles. Alex did a great job of utilizing his length to create separation from the OT, and then he showed that he had the hand fighting moves, and quick feet to be able to disengage and get to the heels of the OL. Alex also showed speed to rush around the edge, body control to change directions in his rush, and seemed to have a solid plan of attack during each rep. Get this kid on your radars now, and out to your camps this summer.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-656e710bbd7d3"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["104988"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"One of my favorite athletes over the past several years has been Two Rivers' [player_tooltip player_id='104988' first='Chase' last='Matthias']. He has been a two way impact player since he was a freshman, piling up impressive numbers and wins. The senior checked in as an LB for the Showcase, and showed that he is definitely a steal. On tape it was clear that Chase has the physical side of the game down. Where he really solidified himself was in proving that he also has the athleticism to play in space. Chase possesses a good blend of balance and agility to be able to face RBs one on one in running lanes or out on the edge. He also stepped up impressively while the one on one battles covering RBs. Matthias has the speed to be able to run with RBs, close on them when they break in front of him, and was able to break up passes. I'm more confident than ever that Chase has the talent to play LB at the next level. Don't sleep on him.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-656e710bbd828"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["642456"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"In maybe the best group of DBs we have had at the PRZ WI Showcase, [player_tooltip player_id='642456' first='Marion' last='Moore'] stepped up and shined. It was right from the start too. Marion jumped out of the gym with a 9'9u0022 and 9'10u0022 broad jump. In the drill work we got a glimpse of what was to come in one on one battles. Marion has the quick twitch reactive athleticism needed to stay in the pocket of WRs as they go through route breaks. Moore has very quick feet, hips, and a burst that all help him shine in short areas. Marion also has the speed to play downfield and far beyond the breaks in routes. The junior showed ball skills with timely and accurate hand placement to break up passes. We were already a big fan of Marion coming into the event, and he only impressed us more. Definitely a name to know.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-656e710bbd879"} /-->
