<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As we approach the last few weeks of the year, another season of high school football in the state of Kentucky has come and gone. He finished his junior year completing 171/252 passes for 2,555 yards, 50 touchdowns, and zero interceptions in 13 games. Pennington has a strong arm which he is able to use to lead his receivers down the field in the deep passing game. He has also shown impressive ball placement, putting the ball where only his intended receiver can catch it. Luke also finished the season with one rushing touchdown. While he doesn't currently hold any offers, I expect some to come his way going into his senior year as he has received some college interest and definitely has the talent to play quarterback at the next level.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_1_player_details_player_name":"[player_tooltip player_id='1584343' first='Tyson' last='Martin']","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_1_player_details_graduating_class":"2026","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_1_player_details_height":"6'0u0022","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_1_player_details_position":"2411","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_1_player_details_school":"Caverna","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_1_player_details_club_team":"","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_1_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_1_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='1584343' first='Tyson' last='Martin'] is a player that jumped onto my radar this season. The sophomore running back had a very impressive 2023 season, carrying the ball 130 times for 1,319 yards and 18 touchdowns in 10 games. Martin is a physical ball carrier that has shown the strength/contact balance to run straight through defenders without breaking stride. He has also shown the speed to run away from the defense once he hits the open field. Martin also caught eight passes for 124 yards, threw one passing touchdown, and returned three kickoffs first touchdowns this season. He also played a key role on defense at linebacker, finishing the season with 87 tackles, five tackles for loss, two sacks, three interceptions, and two fumble recoveries returned for touchdowns. He played a big role in Pikeville's 1A State Championship run, carrying the ball 137 times for 1,418 yards and 19 touchdowns in 12 games. Anthony is a hard runner that does a great job of lowering his shoulder and breaking tackles without losing stride. He also has shown the ability to hit a second gear to break off on long runs once he hits the open field. Anthony also caught one touchdown pass and threw a touchdown this season. He also continued to impress on defense at linebacker, finishing the season with 115 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, one sack, and an interception which he returned for a touchdown. Anthony finished the season on a high note as he was named the MVP of the 1A State Championship Game. Coffman is a very dangerous deep threat as he is able to use his speed to blow by opposing defensive backs. He is also a very skilled route runner, using smooth breaks in his routes to create separation. Coffman is also electric after the catch, as he has shown the ability to use his speed and elusiveness to turn short passes into big gains. Brock also returned one punt for a touchdown, and played a key role on defense as a defensive back this season, coming away with nine interceptions and returning one for a touchdown while also returning one fumble recovery for a touchdown.
