Elijah Webb Elijah Webb 6'2" | 170 lbs | ATH Paris | 2025 State KY stood out as one of the most electric playmakers in the state last season. On offense, he does a lot of his damage at receiver where he is able to use his speed to blow by opposing defensive backs in the deep passing game. He finished this past season as his team’s leading receiver with 24 receptions for 605 yards and nine touchdowns in 12 games. Webb also made an impact out of the backfield, finishing the season with 24 carries for 428 yards and seven touchdowns. He also returned one punt and two kickoffs for touchdowns while also making an impact on defense, finishing the year with 26 tackles, three tackles for loss, and five interceptions. I expect that first offer to come for Elijah soon as he has received some college interest and has the talent to play at the next level.

Elijah has very explosive speed which he is able to use to blow by opposing defensive backs in the deep passing game and also turn short passes into big gains once he hits the open field. He also posed as a threat in the run game, finishing the season with 24 carries for 429 yards and seven touchdowns. Webb also returned two kickoffs and one punt for touchdowns, and came away with five interceptions on defense this season. Elijah Webb Elijah Webb 6'2" | 170 lbs | ATH Paris | 2025 State KY is a valuable free safety prospect that can enforce defensive turnovers and help make defensive stops across the gridiron. Webb, a 6’2 172lb 2025 grad from Paris High School, tied for the entire state 1A class with 8 recorded interceptions, placed 1st in total net yards after the interception with 226, and returned an interception for a touchdown in 12 games played. Like his linebacker teammates, Elijah has been able to develop incredible field vision and QB reads that enable him to place himself in the right place to put pressure on the intended receiver target before it gets to him. Not only that, but Webb can even catch a lot of interceptions because of this tactic, along with the fact that Elijah’s freakish athleticism allow him to get up high for throws and still come down with them despite lots of contact from the intended receiver. Even if it is a throw that is going across the other side of the field, Webb can detect the set play early and align himself with the trajectory of the throw to make it easy for him to make the pick. I also want to mention that Webb has great skills running with the football as well since he can produce sharp jabs that can create space off opposing tackles. This helped him gain lots of yards after the initial interception. As of this spring, there has not been officially reported interest from collegiate schools but expect this to change within at least the next 2 years for Elijah.

The first defensive back on my All-State team is sophomore Elijah Webb Elijah Webb 6'2" | 170 lbs | ATH Paris | 2025 State KY from Paris. Webb has had an outstanding season so far, finishing the regular season tied for the most interceptions in 1A with seven. He also has 43 total tackles, three tackles for loss, and one sack on the season. He has the speed to turn and run with receivers in the deep passing game. When the ball is thrown his way, he shows tremendous ball skills, timing the pass and breaking on it at the right moment to come away with the interception. Webb has also shown impressive speed after the interception, returning one for a touchdown this year. While he doesn’t currently hold any offers, Webb will be a player to watch as he continues to develop over the next two seasons.
